Happy Fourth Birthday, Lockdown Fascism! Climate Lockdowns Are Next

By Jason Scott Jones Published on March 13, 2024

Was it only four years ago? In one way, it feels like decades ago. In another, it’s as if it had never ended. But it was mid-March in 2020 that we saw the first nation locked down, imprisoned, subject to martial law, as part of the COVID panic. It started in Italy.

That nightmarish, useless imprisonment of the people by their elites lasted for more than a year in many countries (and U.S. blue states). The Orwellian farce burned trillions of dollars, drove millions into desperate poverty, and starved tens of thousands of the world’s poorest to death. The intentional seeding of nursing homes with COVID patients by Democrat governors killed thousands more right here at home, who died without benefit of clergy or Christian burial, instead being bagged and incinerated like euthanized shelter pets. Or aborted babies, like the ones whose tissue got used to develop the COVID vaccine.

That horror movie has a sequel. It’s premiering soon thanks to a government near you. Officials from globalist powerbrokers such as the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF) are contemplating COVID-style lockdowns again. They’re just waiting for the pretext. Or planning for it.

The WEF’s Great Reset Program aims to grab huge swathes of power over citizens’ access to a functioning economy, nutritious diet, and reliable energy sources — all in the guise of addressing climate change.

The Lockdown That Made Us Sick and Poor

In May 2020, I became one of the first people in America arrested for protesting against COVID lockdown. Authorities from the state of Hawaii ordered police to collar me and a Samoan chief who insisted on publicly demonstrating against their unconstitutional, medically useless restrictions. Why did we gladly go to jail? It was worth it to speak out for those who suffered in silence, locked in their homes, deprived of human contact, their incomes slashed by the forced collapse of Hawaii’s tourism industry.

Real GDP per capita in Hawaii fell well below the average real GDP per capita in the U.S. Unemployment rates peaked during April and May 2020. Thousands plummeted suddenly into poverty, not just in Hawaii, but across the world.

The impact on billions in the global south was far more severe. With minimal savings and a heavy reliance on daily wages, individuals were desperate, with no way to know how they might eat next week or fuel their homes next month.

In India, during the initial phase of lockdown, individual income collapsed by some 40%. Millions of migrant laborers, kicked out of their shabby apartments, and with no cars or even bikes, trailed back hundreds of miles on foot to their native villages.

A staggering 75 million middle-income Indians sank into poverty because of COVID economic lockdowns, and more than 100 million were left jobless. In the shadowy “unorganized employment sector,” more than 200 million were left without work. Only the famines overseen by the British East India Company rivalled the destructiveness of the lockdowns.

And all for nothing. John Miltimore, Editor at Large of the Foundation for Economic Education, writes:

Lockdowns weren’t scientific and proved ineffective at slowing the spread of Covid, but even if they had worked, they came with severe collateral damage: cancer screenings plummeted, drug use surged, learning was lost, and global poverty exploded. Depression and unemployment skyrocketed, businesses went bankrupt, and high inflation arrived. Babies were denied heart surgery because of travel restrictions, youth suicides increased … the list goes on and on.

A Dry Run for Global Tyranny

What did the lockdowns even accomplish? They didn’t save a single life. They merely slowed down the arrival of herd immunity — the only solution (short of a real, preventative vaccine or a cure) that any pandemic ever has.

Amidst the disruptive chaos across the world, there was one country that stood out for freedom: Of all places, Sweden. Despite bordering Norway — a country that had one of the strictest lockdowns in Europe — Sweden refused to impose sweeping lockdowns or mask mandates on people. Outraged globalists threatened sanctions and predicted a mass die-off.

What actually happened? Sweden registered one of the lowest COVID death rates in entire Europe for the period 2020-2022. It also had one of the lowest excess deaths for any cause since the pandemic, much lower than the likes of Australia and New Zealand that adopted extreme lockdown measures. Anders Tegnell, a prominent Swedish infectious disease expert, argued early on lockdowns would not work against the COVID virus. And they didn’t. All they accomplished was spreading poverty, and concentrating power in the hands of the global few.

Say No to the Next Lockdown, Imposed by the Climate Cult

From the viewpoint of the globalists, the lockdowns were a runaway success. Their test-run for tyranny worked beyond their wildest dreams. They proved that most people can be scared into submission, cowed and bullied and silenced. Those who lied to them and tyrannized them weren’t punished, but rewarded.

So they plan to do it again. The bigwigs at the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and our own corrupt elites have already laid out their plans for the next lockdown. It will be harsher than the last one, and it will have no logical stopping point. If they have their way, it will be forever — the “new normal” which they “build back better.”

Under various guises like Net Zero and the Paris agreement, climate-justified quasi-lockdown measures have emerged, gradually corrupting our personal lives. Whatever problem emerges — from Islamist massacres in Africa to cannibal gangs in Haiti — our journalists will find a way to attribute it to … (drumroll please) climate change. That nicely distracts from the real causes, which might be politically inconvenient, and gives more fuel to the engine of globalist coercion and control.

The U.K. recently decreed that Britons must live in “climate cities,” forbidden to drive more than a designated distance from their homes. In a similar vein, France has banned short-haul domestic flights for climate reasons. EU elites sought to slash food production and seize land from farmers — resulting in two years of agricultural rebellion. Meanwhile, worldwide media are already trying to brainwash us into thinking it’s healthier and “more sustainable” to get our protein from bugs.

Let the Poor Freeze in the Dark

In the United States, President Biden revoked approval for the Canadian pipeline network, which would have carried affordable, clean, high-quality fossil fuels from a dependable trade partner. He introduced the Inflation Reduction Act, which hides within in it funding for aggressive climate initiatives. Biden annulled the authorization process for new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export permits to non-Free Trade Agreement (FTA) countries and imposed restrictions on oil drilling. Say goodbye to American energy independence at home, and reliable fuel supplies for poor people worldwide.

The biggest stick for imposing tyranny is the ESG and Net Zero initiative. ESG represents a credit mechanism that rewards organizations for embracing woke ideology, including gender dysphoria and anti-white racism. Net Zero demands that companies dump reliable energy sources and invest in dubious “green” technologies, many of them dependent on rare-earth minerals mined by child laborers in Africa or political prisoners in China. Companies that won’t play ball with ESG and Net Zero will be starved of loans or investment — as conservatives and Christians get “de-banked” and investigated

Many of us warned, protested, and even got arrested for speaking out against the last useless fascist lockdown. Are you ready to fight the next one? How far will you go for freedom?
