By Published on December 6, 2016

President-elect Donald Trump met with Masayoshi Son, the CEO of SoftBank Tuesday. Following the meeting, Trump tweeted out that the Japanese company will invest heavily in the American economy.

Trump further commented that the CEO said that this would not have been possible had he not won the election.

On the campaign trail, Trump repeatedly promised to bring back and create new jobs for the American people. He says that the deal with Softbank will contribute to this goal.

The details of the deal with Softbank are still unclear.
