Stocks Edge Down as Investors Await Federal Reserve Minutes

Investors await fresh clues on timing of increase to U.S. interest rates.

Global stocks edged lower Wednesday, ahead of the release of minutes from the latest meeting of the U.S. Federal Reserve.

The Stoxx Europe 600 was down 0.4%. The mild losses, driven by the negative performance of airline shares, followed a rally Tuesday despite a more uncertain geopolitical outlook after a terror attack in Paris killed 129 people.
