SAT Scores at the Lowest Point in a Decade

The average SAT score for students is at its lowest point since the test was redesigned ten years ago.

The average score for the class of 2015 was 1490 out of 2400, the Washington Post reports. That total is down about seven points from the previous year, and includes declines across all sections of the test.
