Producer of Planned Parenthood Videos Invited to Pope Francis’ Congressional Address

By Published on September 22, 2015

The pro-life advocate whose organization has sent shockwaves throughout the nation with videos exposing how Planned Parenthood sells aborted babies and their body parts has been invited to witness Pope Francis’ address to Congress on Thursday.

Congressman Tim Huelskamp, a pro-life Kansas Republican, informed LifeNews.com he has David Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress and Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action to join him. Huelskamp invited these pro-life advocates for Pope Francis’ first visit to the United States.

The Pope will deliver his address to the joint session of Congress and viewers across the country this Thursday, September 24. In addition to this being this Pope’s first visit to the United States, this will also be the first time any Pope has addressed a joint session of Congress.

This summer, Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress exposed Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in aborted baby parts to the nation.

“As a Catholic, an American, and a Congressman, I am excited for Pope Francis’ upcoming, historic visit to America and his address to Congress. I am honored to welcome Mr. Daleiden and Ms. Rose to witness what I hope will be an inspiring articulation of Catholic social teaching, especially the evil of abortion, defending traditional marriage and families, and protecting religious liberties,” Hielskamp said.

“America faces multiple, severe challenges to basic human rights, such as the recent revelations about the trafficking in baby parts by Planned Parenthood, and Catholic faith has much light to shed upon these attacks.  Pope Francis does not come as a politician, but as a pastor, as a moral leader. He is not coming to share policy prescriptions, but a moral vision and direction for our country based upon the gospel of Jesus Christ,” he added.
