As part of our Stream-Spangled Celebration, won’t you please join us for a picturesque stroll across the country with the help of some of the most beautiful lyrics ever written about America.

They come courtesy of the iconic folk singer Woody Guthrie. Oddly enough, this poetic tribute started out as protest song, written in response to “God Bless America.” It sure didn’t turn out that way.
