Controversial director Oliver Stone has released the first teaser trailer from his forthcoming biopic on the life of Eric Snowden, aptly titled Snowden.

The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Snowden and will hit theaters on Christmas Day, 2015.

Based on his track-record, one can only expect a thoroughly biased, anti-American view of the entire situation from Stone, but the importance of the Eric Snowden affair warrants some attention.
