It’s Time to Enjoy Your Life

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” (1 John 4:18)

I never understood why my earthly father didn’t show affection toward his children. I knew he loved me, but he struggled to express it physically.

Years down the road, I found out that he too battled insecurity. To this day, I wonder how different my relationship with my dad could have been if somehow he could have known the God I know now — the God who frees us to love Him and love life.

Insecurity keeps us from truly experiencing our lives and enjoying the people we love.

If you struggle with insecurity, it’s time for you to enjoy your life.

Place your worth and security in Jesus. Renew your mind with who His Word says you are. It’s not about what you do, it’s about who He is.

Take action: Declare today: Jesus, I receive Your freedom in my life. I receive Your grace and mercy. Fear has no place here. You are my security and my confidence. Your Word is life to my body, soul and spirit.
