2000 Reasons Why We Know the 2020 Election Was Stolen

An interview with Eric Metaxas on the new film 2000 Mules

Editor’s Note: Dinesh D’Souza’s forensic documentary on the 2020 election is finally finished. A gala premiere took place at Mar-a-Lago, featuring virtually every patriotic celebrity in America. Friend of The Stream Eric Metaxas was understandably invited, and we decided to interview him about the event, the film, and the future of free elections in America.

John Zmirak: You recently went to Mar-a-Lago for the premier of the new film 2000 Mules. You said it was kind of a dream event. Which great Americans did you get to schmooze with?

Eric Metaxas: It was an extraordinary gathering! I’d never been to Mar-A-Lago before. I got to talk to President Trump, who told me: “I keep watching your show. I don’t know why I’m always watching it but I keep watching it! What you’re doing is fantastic.” I presume he watches it every day at FrankSpeech.com!

Which brings up Mike Lindell who was there last night and gave us a ride home. But I got to talk to so many old and new friends, including Lara Logan and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert and Devin Nunez and Kevin and Sam Sorbo and Jenna Ellis and Dave Rubin and Sean Feucht and Larry Taunton and Brandon Strakha and Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his son Andrew, who is running for NYC governor! And of course all of my Salem colleagues were there: Charlie Kirk and Larry Elder and Dennis Prager and Sebastian Gorka. And of course, last and not least the great Dinesh D’Souza himself and his daughter Danielle and his wife Debbie. I’m forgetting about a hundred others.

Kyle Rittenhouse was there. Why didn’t you get me a hair clipping for my personal relic collection?

I’m disappointed to say that I did not see Kyle, but I had heard he was there, along with his hair. But I will do all I can to get a hair clipping for you somehow, along with a certificate of tonsorial authenticity. Without that you have nothing. It could be anyone’s hair, and who wants that?

Tell us about this movie. What does it set out to prove?

The movie will show anyone — and I mean anyone — with a slightly open mind that this election really was stolen. That’s what is so shocking. It’s not complicated. But it is horrifying. And very important to understand. But anyone can see what happened. That’s the genius of this film.

What evidence does 2000 Mules present?

It’s all about forensic evidence available because of our cell phones. So all you need is for people to do what the filmmakers did, which is purchase the cellphone data — it’s public and available. It shows that thousands of people went from ballot dropbox to ballot dropbox to ballot dropbox to ballot dropbox to ballot dropbox. Why would anyone do that? And much of it in the middle of the night. And then back to these various corrupt NGOs that were facilitating the whole thing and paying these people to do it. And the “mules” doing this all had to photograph the drop boxes and the ballots, or they wouldn’t have proof and couldn’t get paid.

Of course no one perpetrating this monstrous evil thought anyone would buy the cellphone data and would access the video of all of it. That’s what makes it so amazing. The criminals did it brilliantly but never dreamed they would get caught. But now absolutely everyone can see how it happened and can wait for people to start getting arrested. And talking.

How did anyone expect to get away with a nationwide conspiracy to harvest fake votes for Biden?

The films show you that many thousands of “mules” were hired to stuff ballot boxes with fraudulent ballots, but they did it in so many locations and in such small numbers that they didn’t dream it would raise any red flags. It’s like passing counterfeit bills. You don’t pass hundred dollar bills, which might attract attention. You stick to tens and twenties, but in large numbers. So the folks who investigated this bought the cellphone data and you can see with crystal clarity how many people with their unique cellphone “fingerprints” went from dropbox to dropbox and did what they did.

What witnesses does the film feature?

The forensic evidence, which they show you and explain, is the real star of the show. They show you exactly how they did it, and some of the video of these folks is going to be famous. The one of the woman removing the latex gloves and putting them in the trash bin immediately after depositing the ballots always gets me. Because you wonder why was she wearing latex gloves? You find out that days before someone discovered some ballot malfeasance and got fingerprints so suddenly all the mules wear latex gloves to deposit the ballots.

But there are a few people who were involved in doing this and who are willing to talk. It’s just astonishing what they say. And I don’t think anyone who hears them will doubt they are simply telling the truth. It’s just so raw.

You appear in the movie. Is that just some celebrity cameo, or do you have a song and dance number with Mike Lindell and Mike Pence?

I have a major role. Actually I play a Burt Reynolds-type rogue who gets crossways of some lady truckers near the Nevada border, but when Smokey gets involved you really get to see some amazing stunt driving! At one point I’m up on two wheels and we go through a toll booth! And yes, near the end, Mike Lindell and I perform “Putting on the Ritz” in top hat and tails. That’s the big schmaltzy finale that has people weeping.

Do you agree with those Republicans like Rep. Mo Brooks that we need to just move on past the 2020 election issue? Or do you agree with Steve Bannon that if we don’t expose the theft, it will keep on happening?

Obviously we have a patriotic obligation to get to the bottom of this and make sure it never happens again. If we don’t have transparent and fair elections, we no longer have America. People have died so that we could be free and could govern ourselves. If we let this evil stand, the whole world will suffer. This is our duty and everyone must do all they can.

Should anyone be shocked that the same Oligarchy that would lie about COVID, dump virus patients in nursing homes, lie about the Dead Baby vaccine, lie about masks, lie about Hunter Biden’s laptop, systematically silence dissenting voices online, and steal a secret Supreme Court draft decision … would stuff ballot boxes? Heck, even patriotic, pro-life Democrats were doing that back in 1960.

That’s the point. We are at a crossroads in our nation. Either the good guys step up and spread the word about what’s happening so that we can all figure out how to remedy it, or we deserve to lose this great country. This is for all the marbles, folks.

How can we see this important movie, and drag along our “normie” friends to red-pill them?

There is a virtual premier in Las Vegas on Sat night May 7th which I’m involved in, so folks can participate in that at 2000Mules.com — but after that anyone can watch it via that website. The key is to get your friends and family to watch it, people who might be on the fence or who are skeptical. They just need to see for themselves that this is not a theory. This happened. And they can see exactly how. That’s what makes it so amazing and so game-changing. I believe this film is an answer to prayers, to be honest. Which reminds me to say, please keep praying. It’s sobering stuff.
