The Brew: Parents ‘Drag a Kid to Pride’ as DOJ Drags Trump Adviser Off Plane

And what was the number one song in the U.S.A. the day Queen Elizabeth was crowned?

GOP Finally Decides to Go After J6 Committee as “Unconstitutional and Illegitimate”

Congressional Republicans, who have been maddeningly docile about Nancy Pelosi’s political stunt known as the January 6 Committee, are finally going after the witch hunt as “unconstitutional and illegitimate.” Rep. Elise Stefanik told Breitbart News Saturday the GOP will also highlight Pelosi’s own failures to secure the U.S. Capitol. For example, brushing off Trump’s suggestion of having National Guard troops on hand and ignoring intelligence warnings.

(In January, we posted a theory why Pelosi rejected the National Guards. She, from past experience, assumed any violence on January 6 would be instigated by the Left. And we learned from the Antifa/BLM riots the previous summer, Pelosi wants no part of policing left-wing violence.)

This comes after the Biden DOJ’s banana republic move on Friday.  Former White House advisor Peter Navarro was dragged off a plane, handcuffed and tossed in a cell. Arrested and charged with contempt of Congress because he’s refusing to appear before the committee, citing executive privilege. Anyone ever see Eric Holder or IRS TEA Party hunter Lois Lerner, charged … let alone shackled …. after being held in contempt of Congress?

Navarro claims he had told prosecutors he was making a trip to Nashville (to film the Huckabee show). Prosecutors said “fine.” He also told them if he was going to be charged, he’d turn himself in voluntarily.  No, Biden’s tyrannical operatives wanted to help boost Pelosi’s public J6 hearings.

I’d say they treated Navarro like a common criminal. But they treat common criminals like kings.

Gun Control Legislation is So Crucial, Key Dem. Senator Wants Biden to Stay Out of It

What do U.S. Senators and young girls with flowing hair have in common? Neither wants Joe Biden in the room.

Senate Democrats and Republicans are working on new bipartisan gun control legislation. Say what you will about the merits … or the futility of such laws … or their likely lack of Constitutionality. What’s interesting this morning, is how Democratic senators don’t want Biden involved in the negotiations.

“I think the Senate needs to do this ourselves,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn) told CNN. “I’ve talked to the White House every single day since these negotiations began, but right now the Senate needs to handle these negotiations.”

What are They Thinking? Parents Take Tots to Dallas Gay Bar’s ‘Drag the Kids to Pride” Event

How’s this for weekend fun? Taking your kids as young as toddlers to a gay bar, exposing them to gyrating drag queens, having them up on stage in front of neon messages promoting oral sex. Happened this weekend at the “Drag the Kids to Pride” event at the Dallas gay bar The Mr. Misster.

And it was just as demonic as it sounds. Well, worse than I made it sound. I cannot even post the tweets. TheBlaze has full coverage. (WARNING: Images shocking.)

Said one commenter on Twitter: “The parents of these children should be arrested.”

The Blaze’s Jason Whitlock put it better: “This is satanic.”

Meanwhile, Pizza Hut is now featuring a book that “celebrates drag kids” on its Book It! reading incentive program. The book is called Big Wig.

Bad move by Pizza Hut, anyway you slice it.

Odd: Pizza Hut openly promoting kids cavorting in drag in front of adults. But “Pizzagate” was a “crazy conspiracy theory.” Just sayin’.

Elon Musk Mystified Why Epstein/Maxwell Client List Hasn’t Leaked

Poking the powerful seems to have become Elon Musk’s favorite sport. His latest? Expressing wonder that the DOJ hasn’t leaked the client list of Jeffrey Epstein and Gislaine Maxwell. And the mainstream media has no interest in uncovering those clients.

Perhaps Elon missed Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine, an official at the DNC, warning in 2019 that “some of our faves” would be implicated.

Sorry, Elon. The media and the Swamp protect their own.

Nigerian Church Horror: More Than 50 Murdered

An absolutely awful story out of Africa.

At least 50 people were killed Pentecost Sunday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Nigeria in a dastardly attack. A witness who identified herself as Toyin described what happened:

“They first started by throwing in explosives into the church hall, which sent the worshipers scampering for safety, It was while they were running for safety that the attackers started shooting at them.”

The identity and motives of the murderers is not yet clear.

Please join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Nigeria and the families of those martyred.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration Wraps Up

Great Britain’s four days of celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee wrapped up Sunday with a street festival and performance by Ed Sheeran. After two days of skipping out on the festivities, England’s longest reigning monarch made a surprise appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

(In case you were wondering, Prince Harry and Meghan Markel weren’t off shooting another interview on how horrible life is with Oprah. They were not on the balcony because they are no longer “working” senior royals. In their first appearance at a Platinum Jubilee event, the couple was booed.

Elizabeth also released a statement expressing her thanks, with a wink at the historic nature of her reign.

When it comes to how to mark 70 years as your queen, there is no guidebook to follow. It really is a first. But I have been humbled and deeply touched that so many people have taken to the streets to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee.

While I may not have attended every event in person, my heart has been with you all; and I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability, supported by my family.

I have been inspired by the kindness, joy and kinship that has been so evident in recent days, and I hope this renewed sense of togetherness will be felt for many years to come.

Elizabeth was crowned queen on June 2, 1953 at the tender age of 25.

Want some idea how much the world has changed? The number one song that week in the USA was “The Song from Moulin Rouge (Where is Your Heart)” by Percy Faith. With vocals by Felicia Sanders, the record stayed at number one for 10 weeks.

Yes, I do believe it would be a good idea to have a second cup of Brew to wake you up after ol’ Percy.

Along The Stream

On Pentecost, Dr. Michael Brown declared “I Want to Be a Torch.”

In 2018, Michael Avenatti was being hailed by the MSM and was slurring Brett Kavanaugh and his friend Stream Contributor Mark Judge. Judge reacts to Avenatti’s dramatic downfall in “Hang Michael Avenatti Around the Media’s Neck Christ Returns in Glory.”
