North Carolina’s Benham Brothers issued a video today debunking fake news about the effects of their state’s transgender bathroom bill. A bill to repeal the ban passed the Senate and House. The governor reportedly has agreed to sign it.

News reports warned of gloom and doom before House Bill 2 was passed. The state lost NCAA championships. The NBA All-Star Game pulled out. Bruce Springsteen canceled a concert.

But that was about it. The boycott failed. It didn’t phase businesses and tourists. The economy is thriving and tourism is booming. The Washington Times ran a real news article on March 20 about the state’s prosperity. Hotels set records. The state ranked fourth in the country for attracting and expanding businesses. Forbes and Site Selection ranked the state No. 2 for business climate.

The Christian reality TV stars aren’t afraid to call the media out. Jason Benham explains, “The devil is the father of lies.”

Yet recent AP headlines don’t reveal this. The brothers read some of the fake news headlines. On March 27, “AP reports $3.76 billion in lost business by 2028 over HB2.” Various news outlets picked up the report and ran with the number in headlines.

The Christian reality TV stars aren’t afraid to call the media out. Jason Benham explains, “The devil is the father of lies.” He blasts the left for “pushing a moral agenda on our state.”

The Texas State Legislature is also voting on a similar bill. The brothers urge people to “stand up, be strong.”
