The Brew: Trump Must Play 4D Blindfold Chess in a Hailstorm if America Is to Survive
Let’s storm Heaven with prayer for our president and his team. I really can’t fathom what it’s like to be on the front lines of the spiritual warfare currently raging in Washington, D.C. I had a tiny taste of it kneeling on hot New York City sidewalks outside abortion clinics when I was young: that alien presence, which I’ve only felt at such desolate places and on the occasions I’ve met really rabid antisemites. I was brushed by fallen angels’ icy wings, which fan hatred for babies and Jews because their enemy, Jesus, was once a baby Jew.
The principalities and powers that possess our body politic are thrashing around and screaming. The talking heads all spin. Just as a demon will whipsaw an exorcist between plausible death threats and cloying appeals for pity, our elites will code-switch at the drop of a mic from calls for bloodcurdling violence and mocking the disabled to burbling in baby voices about “protecting the most vulnerable.” They’re throwing everything at the wall to see what will stick or explode.
Yesterday we pointed to what’s likely behind the manufactured “Signalgate” scandal, a planning meeting for a military attack on Houthi terrorists that was leaked to a leftist journalist with strong ties to the Deep State: sabotage from within President Donald Trump’s own team of the kind that produced the Russiagate hoax and achieved his first phony impeachment. (The Stream’s doughty contributor Tim Furnish, who has an intelligence background and experience, is beavering through all the details and will report back to all of us on that soon.)
For more than 100 years, since Woodrow Wilson collected elite support for his presidential run by denouncing the Constitution as a “relic” that impeded “experts'” efficient governance of the country, the arrogant who wish to rule the rest of us in secret without our consent have carefully spread their tentacles of control through our democratic institutions.
We were warned by some in the know: the flawed but heroic Senator Joseph McCarthy pointed to hundreds of all-too-real Communist sympathizers honeycombing our government, some of them perilously close to President Franklin Roosevelt himself, others inside the Manhattan Project that gave the bomb to Stalin.
After weary years in office trying to do the people’s will despite the machinations of oligarchs, President Dwight Eisenhower solemnly warned against a “military/industrial complex” that was hijacking our government.
Now Glenn Beck, after studying the long-secret files surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, offers his own analysis. Check out this sobering video in which he unpacks what he calls “a war between Kennedy and the Central Intelligence Agency.”
The JFK Files didn’t reveal “who” killed JFK. But they might have revealed “WHAT” led to his assassination. We can now safely say that Kennedy and the CIA were at war with each other for 2 years before he was shot. pic.twitter.com/6UrObdVxip

Remember how in Watergate an FBI agent (“Deep Throat”) was leaking information to a CIA asset (Bob Woodward) to take down a hugely popular president and replace him with Gerald Ford, a member of the Warren Commission? Recall more recently when Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) warned President Trump in his first term about the “six ways from Sunday” his own spy agencies could arrange to avenge themselves on him? Shortly thereafter, the Russia Collusion hoax exploded, with the FBI’s bloody fingerprints all over its leaks to a compliant media.
That’s the kind of background you need when assessing the current campaign to take down Trump’s loyal appointees, based on a media leak that some Deep State loyalist who’s been long burrowed into the government arranged with a partisan journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg — himself the author of numerous partisan hoaxes.
It’s not that every spy agency is by its very nature evil. Nor are elites necessarily wicked — America’s ruling class led our fight for independence, risking their vast wealth on a throw of the dice against the odds. But as James Burnham explained in The Managerial Revolution and George Orwell dramatized in 1984, twentieth-century Western elites unfettered by Christian morality (which they’d abandoned) decided to write off as a busted flush the experiment with democracy and collect into their soft, manicured hands all the real reins of power. They will rule for our own good, even if that means silencing us, locking us down, or finally replacing us all with docile immigrants.
That’s what this war is about. And it’s why we fight.
Trump’s Only Chance: Defy the Usurping Courts
Also courtesy of The Blaze comes an unparalleled analysis of Trump’s strife with our elites’ powerful, black-robed Nazgul: rogue federal judges who presume to micromanage the executive branch of government. An accomplished writer on spiritual warfare (he authored the book behind the film Nefarious), Steve Deace recounts how he personally led the fight against judicial supremacy in Iowa and won:
In 2010, Iowa made history as the first state to remove state supreme court justices through a retention election, holding them accountable for their rulings. I was one of the movement’s leaders. No one expected us to succeed. The Republican Party wanted no part of it. We had no support from GOP candidates for governor or Senate. Republican-aligned trial lawyers stayed out of it. We were an underdog coalition taking on a judicial leviathan.
On election night, we won by 10 points. … We accomplished this with just $1 million, a small sum for a modern statewide campaign.
Deace calls on Trump to follow the example of another epochal president, who faced federal courts that sided with the Confederacy:
We haven’t had a president challenge judicial overreach since Abraham Lincoln defied the Supreme Court’s heinous Dred Scott decision by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation. Thomas Jefferson, the man who wrote America’s mission statement, spent much of his public life warning about the dangers of an unchecked judiciary. He feared that if left unrestrained, corrupt judges would twist the Constitution into “a mere thing of wax.” He argued that the other branches must do their duty to prevent judicial usurpation. …
[Trump] faces a moment that could define his presidency. Stripping illegitimate power from unelected judges and returning it to the people who rightfully govern stands as the ultimate act of populism.
For the last 50 years, the left has imposed its most destructive policies on the country by judicial fiat. If Trump takes bold action now, he has a chance to cement his place in history alongside Lincoln and Jefferson.
Now you know why the billionaires whose nonprofits give lucrative jobs to federal judges’ wives and daughters are also calling in their favors in the Deep State: to manufacture “scandals” such as Signalgate. And then those conflicted judges get themselves placed to rule on the fake scandals the Deep State created:
Rep. Jim Jordan Says it’s ALL Been Planned and It’s NO SURPRISE Rogue Judge Boasberg Was Assigned To The Signal Messages Lawsuit:
“Supposed to be random. He could recuse himself from the case if there’s a bias.. he won’t. There’s a history. They had lawsuit ready. Go figure.” pic.twitter.com/rQ2MpZbmlt
— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) March 26, 2025
Judge James Boasberg, who ordered Trump to fly back in the deported Venezuelan gangbangers ICE rounded up and sent packing back to their country of origin recently, is married to a woman who runs an abortion clinic. Also, his daughter works for a USAID-funded nonprofit that sues the government on behalf of illegal immigrants.
Pray hard.
Truth Busting Out All Over the Place
Power means never having to say you’re sorry. That’s why it’s such a buzzkill to lose power, and why our oligarchs claw and fight for it with all the desperation of addicts in a supermax prison. National Public Radio CEO Katherine Maher has said a lot of things publicly which she thought she’d never have to defend — the kind of code phrases and dog whistles that signal one’s loyalty to the Managerial Class. For instance, she said that “truth is a distraction from getting things done.” A nice creed for someone who runs an organization dedicated to journalism, isn’t it?
STATE FUNDED MEDIA: NPR’s CEO Katherine Maher explained, “Truth is a distraction from getting things done”. She didn’t realize that 100% of NPR’s editorial staff were Democrats and has never seen any bias in the newsroom. pic.twitter.com/gJldvEUZf5

Now Maher is lying under oath before Congress about her past extremist statements, and the great culture warrior Christopher Rufo is passing the popcorn:
It’s so satisfying to watch elite libs who were singing from the rooftops about reparations and going into ecstasy about George Floyd, now wake up with this massive cultural hangover. The era of Robin DiAngelo is officially over.pic.twitter.com/nHcReq8fg1
— Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️ (@realchrisrufo) March 26, 2025
The old tweets are coming out to haunt the NPR CEO: “Why did you call President Trump a ‘fascist’ and a ‘deranged racist sociopath’ in 2020?” pic.twitter.com/ggcpPCSvzi
— Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️ (@realchrisrufo) March 26, 2025
Is it cruel for taxpayers to hold the people accountable who spend their money to demoralize and demonize them while condescendingly patting them on the head? Does enjoying this rare spectacle mean I’m a bad person? If Ms. Maher actually turned on the waterworks and cried, would that mean man be forced to stop asking her all those insensitive questions?
Natural Law Returns to Kentucky
Legislators in Kentucky have decided to reaffirm the document that’s the font of justice and liberty in America: the Ten Commandments. First Liberty reports:
Today, Kentucky House Joint Resolution 15 (HJR-15), which passed the state legislature by an overwhelming majority in both houses, became law. The legislation returns for permanent display on the state Capitol grounds the historic Ten Commandments monument donated to the Commonwealth of Kentucky by the Fraternal Order of Eagles in 1971. First Liberty represents Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3423, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, which has kept the monument for over 20 years and is returning it to the state for placement on the Capitol grounds….
As the Supreme Court has explained, the Ten Commandments “have an undeniable historical meaning,” including “historical significance as one of the foundations of our legal system,” and “[s]uch acknowledgments of the role played by the Ten Commandments in our Nation’s heritage are common throughout America.”
You have to ask yourself: What agenda is served by trying to rip out every reference to our history and our ancestors, much less to the roots of our moral codes and system of justice? Tyrants throughout the millennia have always hurried to do this, to deprive the people of any means or rationale for resistance. There’s a new book about that which you might want to read: No Second Amendment, No First.
A Respite and a Prayer of Gratitude
The wonderful prayer warriors of Intercessors for America keep patriots informed on and their knees, reporting on each earthly battle that has eternal significance. Recently they offered some good news, and a few words of thanks to the Giver:
After a lower court moved to block DOGE from dismantling the USAID, a federal appears court ruled that the department could temporarily continue its crucial work.
From The Epoch Times. A federal appeals court on March 25 temporarily put a lower court order on hold that blocked Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)-led efforts at downsizing the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Lord, we thank You for upholding DOGE as it works to streamline and reform our government. We ask You to protect everyone in the Trump administration as they work to better our nation.
Along The Stream…
Don’t miss this powerful video testimony from Pastor Shane Idleman’s wife, Morgan. She tells a stark story of sin, sexual exploitation, grace, and redemption.
Author Flannery O’Connor once warned that “tenderness,” unhinged from real Christian morality, “leads to the gas chamber.” That’s literally true in Britain, where the Left has weaponized “compassion” to champion the mass-killing of the sick, the elderly, and the handicapped — all of which, by merest coincidence, will save the government trillions of pounds. Later today, read Jules Gomes’s sobering report.
