The Brew: Trump Acts Against Election Fraud. How Far Did He Go, and What Threats Still Remain?

On the face of it, this Fox News report seems very promising:

We’re certainly a long way from the vapid insistence by everyone from Joe Biden to Mike Pence, from The Atlantic to Fox News, that the 2020 election was the “safest, most secure” race in American history. Americans never got an explanation for the millions of Democratic votes that suddenly materialized in a locked-down, COVID-panicked America for a senescent Joe Biden — which never came in for Barack Obama and which promptly vanished again in 2024. Were those votes faked and dumped into ballot-collection sites, generated by computer, or otherwise fabricated? A majority of Republicans and large swathes of Democrats now think so, despite four years of Orwellian propaganda to the contrary.

So what really did happen? Trump owes it to every citizen, but especially to those persecuted by lawfare for supporting his plausible claim of mass electoral fraud, to get to the bottom of the 2020 scandal. That would be key to ending the down-ballot theft of House and Senate elections, which seems to have happened even in 2024, and to preventing a repeat of the 2020 nightmare.

Will the new measures Trump’s proposing do the job? I’m not an expert on this subject, but friends of mine actually are. David Clements, whose heroic fight for honest elections is currently being detailed by Rachel Alexander here at The Stream, pointed me to an analyst, Capt. Seth Keshel. On his Substack (go subscribe!) Keshel analyzes the president’s new executive order in granular detail. Here are a few key takeaways:

The order is broad, and most notably, isn’t the last one we are going to see from Trump as we strive to get something meaningful passed through legislation – namely the Make Elections Secure Act (MESA). …

The order highlights the fact that many states abuse mail-in voting (there are 8 states that practice Universal Mail-In Voting, in which every registration has a ballot sent to it, regardless of whether it belongs to a real, living person). …

Trump’s order calls out the dereliction of duty by the federal government to enforce election laws and prevent abuse by certain states. A key point arises when Trump’s order states his administration intends to ensure no late ballots are counted in federal elections, with mail-in related excuses no longer valid.

Trump’s order also

requires the Election Assistance Commission (EAC), the body that provides oversight, funding, certification standards, and other items pertaining to federal elections, to require proof of citizenship when registering with the national mail voter registration form. This is no longer an “attestation” that one is a citizen, but something with a list of go/no-go items for proof that must be verified.

This section is a common-sense driven portion, but I still believe that illegal aliens aren’t voting in significant numbers; I believe they are being voted for. They appear on voter rolls primarily because of motor voter and Automatic Voter Registration, especially when states pass laws allowing illegals to get driver’s licenses, and from there are dispensed a mail ballot that others harvest up, often for cash. This section addresses the symptom more than the root cause, which is faulty voter registration methodology.

That observation is key. The fraudster here isn’t Pablo or Ahmed who might be working here illegally, but the corrupt local Democrat (or RINO) election officials who accept as genuine the ballots faked in illegal immigrants’ names by leftist nonprofits funded by USAID grants to promote “voter engagement.”

Trump’s order also

provides guidance engaging the Commissioner of Social Security to use the SSN Verification Service, the Death Master File, and other databases to ensure voter rolls contain only those who are eligible and alive. This section tasks the Attorney General with prosecuting those who do not take steps to keep voter rolls in proper alignment, containing only eligible voters, and the Secretary of Defense with cleaning up (the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) voting by verifying citizenship and determining eligibility to vote in each state.

This section is an accompaniment to Section 2 and sharpens the focus a bit to include others than illegals and non-citizens. UOCAVA is a low-key way elections are rigged without fanfare, and those ballots, which somehow went overwhelmingly for Biden in 2020 despite containing a large chunk of military votes, trickle in for days after Election Day.

There is much more to Keshel’s analysis, which we must hope White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and others on the Trump team are reading with close attention.

One of the most interesting, principled, and fearless writers in America is Jeffrey Tucker of the Brownstone Institute. A pro-life libertarian and Catholic, Tucker stood up before almost anyone else against the mass imprisonment, censorship, and forced vaccinations imposed on the world during the public health dictatorship of 2020. The Brownstone Institute was one of the key allies of heroic figures such as our new National Institutes of Health director, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, and it helped flout the menacing groupthink that fed us lie after lie about COVID-19.

Tucker is also a sophisticated critic of the arts, having written for decades about sacred music and worship. In this fascinating piece, Tucker explores how the COVID panic turned our culture into a suffocating greenhouse of wokeness amidst the miserable isolation and grinding fear. What emerged from those barren years were projects like Disney’s latest version of Snow White, which reflect neither eternal truths nor venerable folk tradition, but instead the preachy leftist moralism of poorly schooled “creatives.” Tucker writes:

So in 2022-20023, we inhabited a world that had essentially gone psychologically mad, as substance abuse, pharmaceutical addiction and injury, and deeply distorted perceptions of reality, to say nothing of traditional bourgeois understandings of boundaries, had reached their apex.

It was in this period when there emerged an actual and widespread confusion about the meaning of chromosomes as biological determinants of sex. We quickly moved from polite kindness toward gender dysphorics to actual mandates to pretend as if biology does not matter or is entirely malleable with pharmaceutical assistance, just to give one example of many. Suddenly every aspirational professional faced pressure to declare one’s pronouns.

It was during this period that the movie Snow White was being put together, along with many symphonic seasons programmed and museum exhibits scheduled. They came to fruition at the exact moment of turning.

It was a sudden awakening from a crazed dream, and we found our world in a state of madness from out-of-control crime, unhinged protest movements, a migrant crisis by political design, and revolutionary art forms all crashing in on our heads at once.

Even as Britain’s prime minister warns that “Islamophobia” is the greatest threat to that country (and imprisons citizens for disagreeing with that idea on social media), and King Charles III (head of the Church of England) marks Ramadan instead of Lent, one teacher who lost his job for offending Muslim sensibilities now has to live in secret to avoid assassination. British politicians won’t protect him, and in fact threw him to the wolves.

Judges Gone Wild: Irish Edition

Plenty of Irishmen are willing to march on the streets to demand “justice” for Gaza, and “democracy” in Ukraine. But the elites in poor, post-Christian Ireland are governing that country more punitively and cruelly than any British occupier ever dreamed of doing. Remember Enoch Burke, the Christian teacher at a Christian school who was fired and actually jailed for refusing to use fake transgender pronouns? Now an Irish judge has seized Burke’s life savings to reimburse the government for the cost of persecuting him.

Make no mistake: This kind of state-sponsored persecution is what the Left wants for America as well. That’s why British spies helped craft the phony Russia collusion case against Donald Trump, and why European governments (apart from Hungary’s) seem desperate to see Trump fail and go to jail.
