The Brew: Can Trump Clean Out the Deep State Before It Destroys Him?
Our country, like many in Europe, is in the throes of a low-level running civil war between elites and the people. As I’ve explained here before, the “managerial” class James Burnham identified as the real winners of World War II is intent on seizing total control over politics, the economy, and culture from the old leaders of Western society — individual business owners, voting citizens, churches, and other civic groups. Managers don’t produce things or invent things the way Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and other old-fashioned businessmen have. Managers control things, and people, by using bureaucratic levers and legal boobytraps. If they can’t win elections, they cancel them (see Romania), arrest their opponents (see France), or steal them (see the U.S. in 2020).
Or they de facto nullify the results by crippling the people’s choice in office, as the Deep State did via fake investigations such as the Russia collusion hoax, which rendered Trump 1.0 a crippled giant. They’re trying to do it again right now through lawless judicial orders and manufactured scandals, such as the Signalgate affair.
I am absolutely unconvinced that smear-merchant journalist Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic was looped into a classified, highly sensitive war-planning meeting by mistake. Instead, one or more people on the staff of National Security Advisor Mike Waltz (who organized the meeting) decided to blow a hole in our national security in order to humiliate President Trump and take a few scalps from his cabinet. I suspect the real target was Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, given that within hours of the Signal fiasco, warmongering William Kristol was calling for Hegseth to be fired and replaced by trigger-happy Senator Tom Cotton. There are people who desperately want the U.S. to start a war with Iran under the pretext of preventing it from developing nuclear weapons. But the real goal is to get Trump bogged down in a bloody, unwinnable quagmire and cripple the rest of his agenda — just as the Iraq War swallowed up George W. Bush’s presidency.
Thankfully, some Trump loyalists are working to root out staffers whose fealty is to the permanent government rather than our elected leaders. God bless Laura Loomer, who for all her rough edges is a hard-working journalist and patriot. According to Gateway Pundit:
A “neocon” bloodbath occurred at the National Security Council on Thursday, and we may have conservative journalist Laura Loomer to thank for this.
As CNN reported, President Trump fired at least three National Security Council staffers at the agency. The terminations occurred one day after Loomer visited the Oval Office and met with the president.
During Loomer’s meeting with Trump, CNN reported she asked Trump to fire several National Security Council staff members, including his principal deputy national security adviser, Alex Wong. Axios notes she was livid that multiple “neocons” had made it through the vetting process and obtained jobs in the administration.
CNN reported that one firing came as a direct result of Trump’s meeting with Loomer. It’s unknown whether the others were related or already in the works.
It seems that Loomer must be over the target, given the flak she’s taking from that “friend” of the Trump administration, Adam Schiff:
I still haven’t seen a public statement from @MikeWaltz47 about why Democrats are so angry about the firing of the NSC officials Waltz told President Trump he “personally vetted”.
I’m not trying to be combative Mike.
I just really want to know and I NEED to know why Democrats… https://t.co/WiSSK3JihK

The clean-up work isn’t finished, Loomer warned on X:
There are a lot of bad actors embedded all over the FBI, DOJ, NSC, NSA, DOD, and State Department. It’s going to take time to hunt these people down, publicly expose them and have them fired and removed from their positions.
This is going to need to happen for the sake of…

Pro-Life Reporter Viciously Assaulted in Harlem
Anarcho-tyranny means Anarchy for me, tyranny for thee, and the guardians of “decency,” “tolerance,” and “democracy” don’t always operate via backroom leaks, unconstitutional court decisions, or ruinous lawfare. Sometimes they just straight up use street violence to terrorize their enemies. That happened on the streets of Harlem in New York City to Live Action journalist Savanna Craven this weekend:

BREAKING NEWS: Conservative pro life influencer Savanah Craven says she was assaulted in NYC by a pro-abortion while filming interviews today. She uploaded this video in a police car while headed to the hospital with blood on her face. pic.twitter.com/dPybx9u5x3

In a social media message apparently posted by Craven’s attacker — a female — she seemed … unrepentant. This is where the police are supposed to come in, to wield the sword of Caesar and enforce a little repentance inside a penitentiary. (Yes, that’s where we get our name for prisons in the first place.)
In case you thought street violence, vandalism, and other terror tactics were just one-offs, or the actions of a few unhinged individuals, think again: Leftist billionaires are funding the assault on Tesla and Tesla owners, and others linked to President Trump and his supporters. And leftist journalists are admitting this fact openly. See Rachel Maddow:

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: Trump Imposed the Tariffs to Protect U.S. Security
Our crack Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, joined Tucker Carlson recently to explain the rationale for President Trump’s sweeping tariffs on most U.S. trading partners. Bessent explains how decades of policies aimed at benefiting the investor class, rather than the working class, have hollowed out our economy and made America dangerously dependent on fragile worldwide supply chains. Trump’s new policy is designed to spread the wealth more evenly and ensure that the U.S. can meet its own vital needs, come what may, from domestic sources.
Don’t have the time to watch an hour-long video? Tanvi Ratna offers a brilliantly cogent thumbnail sketch of Trump’s sophisticated, statesmanlike strategy over at Fox News.
