Sunny Side of The Stream: Vanderbilt Gender Clinic to Pause Identity-Denying Surgeries on Minors Following Outrage

Happy Weekend!

Good news! In a letter to a Tennessee state representative, Vanderbilt University Medical Center said Friday they will pause their “gender transition” surgeries on minors!

This comes after Matt Walsh published a thread on Twitter two and a half weeks ago exposing Vanderbilt with their own words in videos. The videos seemed to show their financial motive to perform “transgender” surgeries, their lack of tolerance for conscientious objectors within their medical staff, their plan to monitor uncooperative doctors with their “Trans Buddies” program, and their willingness to give cross-sex hormones to 13 year olds. The thread gained attention. Tucker Carlson highlighted it on his show. State representatives started asking questions. And here we are, with what looks like the beginning of a win for children.

Children who would have had identity-denying surgeries at Vanderbilt are now being spared from life-altering, irreversible surgical destruction of their bodies because God-fearing people spoke the truth and took action to protect them.
