Prepare for the Wrath of the Pro-Abortion Militants

By Michael Brown Published on September 20, 2018

I recently tweeted, “Regardless of the charges against Justice Kavanaugh, this much is absolutely clear. The frenzied attempt to try to keep him out of the Supreme Court is simply a battle for the ‘right’ to abort babies in the womb. That’s the bottom line.”

Similar sentiments were expressed by Brandon Morse, writing on RedState.com:

The whole reason Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is in the crosshairs of a sexual assault allegation, and a media circus is ensuing, is because the left is 100 percent focused on making sure their ability to abort children and profit from it goes uninterrupted. They can pretend it’s about honor and making sure an attempted rapist doesn’t get a seat on the highest court in the land, but the left cares very little about sexual assault or abuse.

Is Justice Kavanaugh guilty of an attempted sexual assault 36 years ago? Is his accuser, Prof. Christine Blasey Ford, a credible witness? Those are totally separate questions.

The left’s opposition to Kavanaugh would be no less intense, no less angry, no less pitched had these charges never been raised. The real issue is abortion.

To quote Morse again, “This is about Planned Parenthood’s ability to keep the money wheel flowing for the Democrats. This is about keeping a narrative alive that without abortion, America would fall apart.”

Yes, “Democrats are so desperate to keep abortion alive and well in the United States that they’re willing to paint an innocent man as the worst kind of person so that they can continue killing children without trouble.”

After Roe

And what would happen if Roe v. Wade was overturned? What would happen if “abortion rights” were severely restricted (or entirely removed) from state after state?

All hell would break loose on the streets. Fierce protests would arise. Things would get ugly overnight – and by ugly, I mean very ugly.

A headline from July 12, 2013 on Townhall.com read, “Bricks and Tampons Intended to be Thrown at Pro-Life Lawmakers Confiscated by Police. UPDATE: Jars of Feces Too.”

The accompanying article, written by Katie Pavlich, stated that, “Apparently chanting ‘hail Satan,’ ‘f*ck the church,’ ‘bro-choice’ and holding signs that say ‘hoes before embryos’ just wasn’t enough for pro-abortion protestors in Texas. According to reports on the ground, police have confiscated bricks, tampons, pads and condoms protestors planned to throw at pro-life lawmakers.”

Fast forward to October 17, 2017, and a headline on LifeNews stated, “Topless Feminists Throw Firebombs, Tampons and Feces at a Catholic Church to Protest Abortion.” (This took place in Argentina.)

Are you seeing a pattern?

So, I ask again: What happens if Roe v. Wade gets overturned? What can we expect?

We can expect fury. We can expect feces. We can expect vitriol. We can expect vandalism. We can expect violence.

Watch this short video of antifa and other leftists stealing and destroying pro-life signs in a Boston park. Then ask yourself: What happens when it’s not just pro-life signs that are the issue? What happens when pro-life laws are the issue? What then?

On May 1 of this year, Matthew Vadum reported that Antifa activists in California “protested a campus speech by Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America.”

As Vadum reported, the Orange County, Antifa group Refuse Fascism protested,

Because Hawkins’ group would outlaw abortion, its members are equivalent to ‘Hitler-youth’ who want to treat women as ‘mere breeders or incubators, subordinate and shackled to a patriarchal order that sees them merely as objects.’ Pro-lifers are about ‘control over women, not saving lives (as evidenced by their bombings of clinics and outright murder of heroic doctors who provide abortions).

Indeed, “Hawkins ‘and the whole fascist program against women and their rights’ need to be opposed and the ‘entire culture on campuses needs to be shaken up’ so students take on ‘the grave threat being posed by the Trump/Pence fascist regime.’”

You can be assured that these radical activists believe every word of this rhetoric, which could easily lead to violence. And I repeat: This kind of rhetoric is being used while Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land. Antifa activists and their ilk would go absolutely berserk if the laws were dramatically changed.

Shout Your Ideology

To be clear, I recognize that for many women, having an abortion is an intensely difficult moral choice. I’m thinking of a woman in her 20’s, reared in a religious home, already raising two little children without a father. Her boyfriend takes advantage of her, she discovers she’s pregnant, and she is devastated by the news.

She cannot imagine adding one more child to her household, she struggles with depression and fear, finally deciding to abort her baby after four months.

Her decision was still morally wrong. But this woman is unlikely to join the “Shout Your Abortion” movement or, even less, to hurl feces at a church building.

Put another way, most of the women (and men) raging for the “right” to abort babies do so ideologically. Among them are devout feminists (although the pioneer feminists were reportedly anti-abortion). Among them are a large percentage of atheists. (According to a recent Pew Research report, 87 percent of atheists feel that abortion should be legal in all or most cases.)

Among them are LGBT activists, like those featured in this story describing, “How Queer Women and Nonbinary People Led the Fight to Secure Abortion Rights in Ireland.” (According to the congratulatory article, there is a clear “connection between LGBTQ+ rights and reproductive rights.”)

Among them are Satanists, like those who led a battle for “abortion rights” in Missouri. Yes, these Satanists claimed that the “rules in Missouri’s strict abortion law violate their religious beliefs.”

This is quite the coalition.

The bottom line is that, these examples, which provide just a sampling of the ideological opposition to the pro-life movement, remind us that hell hath no fury like that of the militant pro-abortionists.

Get ready.

Thanks for this article. I think it is also incumbent upon those of us who hold a pro life stance to continue to do the following three things while we fight to end abortion:

    1) Practically support those who carry babies to term.
    2) Challenge men to practically support the children they sire.
    3) Continue to promote the wise use of our sexuality, especially as it pertains to marriage and the responsibilities that being sexually active brings upon us.

We need to speak of, and do, these things just as loudly.

      4) be ready to defend your family from physical harm

    • “sexuality” is a freudian term designed to claim that Natural Law doesn’t exist and that sex is “self-expression.”

It is the cause of the problem, so don’t encourage the use of that diabolic term.

  • Donald McLaughlin

As I commented to Jennifer Hartline on her article, it isn’t just about Roe and abortion. The left is panicked that they will lose the ability to use the courts to achieve their aims for a long time to come. The thought of having to actually make a case for their causes in public through the legislative process frightens them to death! Which tells you something right there!

    • Of course you are missing something here. Do you know the use of “abortion” in witchcraft?

It isn’t the courts that they use to throw their weight around.

      • Juan Garcia

Interesting comment Nigel. Very few people have read actual transcripts of the Salem witch trials. They read just like modern criminal trials with prosecutor, defense attorney, witness testimony and forensic evidence. The issue at trials was child abuse and infanticide, not witchcraft.

The entire episode has been grossly misreported and turned into an industry.

        • It has. Though people probably support the child sacrifice these days.

          • Juan Garcia

            Agreed.

If the Left cared about sexual assault, the Clintons wouldn’t be the heroes of the Left.

I think of the events between the Mexican American War and the Civil War regarding slavery. Although the issue is different, the moral choice was just as polarizing. Events escalated until the election of Abraham Lincoln where the south regarded him as the final threat to keeping slavery legal. Secession followed shortly after, and then 5 years of brutal bloody war. No one expected the war to be anything like it turned out to be. Most thought it would be over in a month. After the smoke cleared,(literally) slaves were freed. Also, as deep as emotions and beliefs were concerning slavery, I don’t see how slaves would have ever been set free nationally without a horrific war. People at the time may or may not have thought it was worth it but 150 years later I think we can say it was necesary. That generation was a chosen generation to go through those events that, in the long run, changed America for the better. Likewise today, if Brett Kavanaugh or some other constitutional conservative is appointed, and somewhere down the road RvW is overturned, I don’t see the future events any less violent. There may not be 2 sides facing each other with muskets, but there will be blood in the streets. We may be the chosen generation to go through these events to finally put an end to the murder of millions of unborn children. There will be blood and sacrifice on both sides but in the long run will be worth it.

    • The same day as the start of the civil war, the results of an investigation were put before congress to outlaw abortion totally. It passed.

      • VesaLocalBus

        Interesting, I didn’t know that.

    • Bryan

“Also, as deep as emotions and beliefs were concerning slavery, I don’t see how slaves would have ever been set free nationally without a horrific war.”
I disagree with this statement. I think the South would have abandoned slavery eventually and personally I think it would have been no later than the early 20th century. However, the speed at which events happened, even back then, I think pushed the South’s secession. People listened to rhetoric and propaganda, much as things are today, and felt, rather than fully reasoned, their way into Seceding.
Today, though, there is no geographical corollary to the South or the North. And there in lies the problem with a “Second Civil War”. There are ideological sides but no real boarders. And if there is “blood in the streets” as you say, then there will be calls for martial law and those calls will be seen as totalitarian moves of government takeover. If Trump is still President or any Republican or conservative, the Left will claim their prophecies are being fulfilled, even though they were the ones who created the need in the first place.

      • You left out the fact that many states in the South seceded only after the Union army showed up in their states. Texas also had the right of secession plainly written in its own state constitution.

None of that mattered to Lincoln, though. He wanted a war because he wanted an empire.

        • Bryan

I do not believe Lincoln’s motives were as entirely self-centered and sadistic as you believe. I don’t believe he was a saint. However, he was not a monster. That said, I know that the Civil War is called the War of Northern Aggression for a reason and that is not simply because of Sherman’s March. Many honorable men fought on both sides.
There could have been a peaceful solution to the slavery issue, I agree. I don’t agree with assigning sole or nearly sole blame to either side. Revisionists on both sides are wrong.

        • VesaLocalBus

You guys need to stop reading alternative rewritten history. Lincoln wanted an empire? Utterly ridiculous.

      • VesaLocalBus

You may “think” that the south would have abandoned slavery. Why? The people of that time didn’t believe so. Slavery was the driving force behind the civil war. If they though” Hey you know what? We may eventually abandon our whole way of life. Lets just give in to the North.” The South looked at emancipation as a direct assault and insult on their way of life. It was the base work force of their economy.

As for the Second Civil War, while yes there will be no lines facing each other with muskets, abortionists are not going to go peacefully. There will be blood in the streets and if martial law is needed to quell it, so be it. There are some in out nation who are slowly embracing lawlessness as policy. It will only appear to be ‘totalitarian’ to the lawless. And as for the left, they always think their worst fears are being fulfilled. They want freedom from law, (“Don’t draw any lines in my life! Don’t tell me what is right or wrong!”) Correctly they prophecy that their rebellion is under threat.

    • 1) Lincoln ignored the peace emissaries from the South and from other nations.
      2) Lincoln baited the Southerners into firing on union resupply ships to Ft Sumter. Remember that while he sent food ships, in the same convoy, he sent destroyers. The Southerners thought they would be attacked and so fired.
      3) The Emancipation Proclamation was a publicity stunt. It freed slaves where the Union army didn’t have any troops and it was largely regarded as posturing worldwide. Another thing — if the slaves were freed where the Union army wasn’t, what was that but asking for a slave revolt? What would happen to the noncombatants?
      4) Lincoln violated international human rights treaties by waging war upon Southern civilians. He burned private homes, seized the wealth of noncombatants destroyed land (leading to starvation), and murdered those not involved in the war effort.
      5) Even though secession was widely seen as a right belonging to sovereign states before the war, it was Lincoln’s political crackdown and imprisoning of opposition newspapers that led to the “support” for continuing the war.

Lincoln wanted an empire like Prussia, like the UK, like other nations around the world. The Republicans had taken the Whig idea of the “American system” and ran with it. There could have been a peaceful solution to the slavery question, but Lincoln was dead-set against it. He wanted a war and he kept fighting a war even if it meant murdering the innocent and suspending the Constitution of the United States.

You guys need to stop reading alternative rewritten history.

Personally, I see these events as the inevitable sign of Satan realizing his time is getting short. He is trying to secure as much damage as he can in the time he has left and sinful man is all too eager to oblige.

“Then Yahweh said unto Cain, ‘where is your brother Abel?’ And Cain replied, I don’t know, am I my brother’s keeper? Yahweh then said, what have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground” (Genesis 4:9-10).

“The wicked strut about on every side when vileness is exalted among the sons of men” (Psalm 12:9/NASB).

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight” (Isaiah 5:20-21/NASB).

Hmmm…please notice that the “blood” of just one solitary soul was recognized by Adonai; yet SO many of we supremely arrogant, petrified hearted individuals here in God Bless [post-Christian] America, are now mind-numbingly approaching some 60-million pre-born human souls that’ve been gruesomely executed – through this medically sophisticated form of genocidal slaughter called abortion since Jan. 1973!

“And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.” (Hebrews 4:13)

A number of years ago, while I was in college, I had to take an American Lit course. It was a survey course, covering a wide range of authors from the colonial period up to the 1960s. One of the pieces that stuck out to me the most was Abraham Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address (if you haven’t read it, you should). The inauguration culminates when Lincoln quotes Matthew 18:7. Essentially, he says that slavery was America’s national sin, and that the woe to our country because of our sin was the Civil War. He goes on to address the fact that people were praying, and asking God for the war to be removed, BUT, that if it remained until all the money earned from slavery was sunk in the war, and until every drop of blood shed with the lash was shed with the sword, then all people could say is that God’s judgments are true and righteous. If Lincoln was right in his analysis, that the Civil War was God’s judgment on our nation for slavery, then what fate awaits us from our national sin of abortion? Seems to me as though we’re shedding a lot of innocent blood, and piling up a lot of ill-gotten wealth. Makes me wonder how much longer America (at least as we now know it) will be around.
