George Janek was a contributor to The Stream and a 40+ year friend to Stream‘s managing editor, Al Perrotta. On Friday morning, George passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. In the above video from last summer, George — who was also an amateur magician — explains some of the tricks employed by science and the media to fool the public.
