Iranian Parade Mocks Captured US Soldiers

Iran continues its campaign to taunt and humiliate the United States.

The latest: At a parade and rally celebrating the 1979 Islamic Revolution Thursday, Iran loudly mocked last month’s capture of 10 U.S. sailors. A float depicted our sailors kneeling with their hands on their heads, armed individuals portraying Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps hovering over them. Our bravest are also shown wrapped in yellow chains.

Here’s the Fox News account of Iran parading our sailors:

The mocking of the American servicemen and woman comes a day after Iran released a video and images of one of the captured sailors crying.

Iran grabbed the sailors in January near the Persian Gulf’s Farsi Island, claiming their two boats had wandered into Iranian territorial waters. The nine men and one woman were held for 15 hours. The female forced to wear a burka. After their release, Iran posted a video showing the mission commander apologizing for U.S. actions. A Navy spokesman said Thursday it was “disgusted by the exploitation of our sailors in Iranian propaganda.”

However, at the time, Secretary of State John Kerry thanked the terrorist regime for their “appropriate response.” So “appropriate,” apparently, it could make one cry.
