In Canada, Big Brother is Ready to Raid Your Home and Steal Your Child

Canada is just one step ahead of the United States.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - July 3, 2016: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attends annual Pride Parade. The Canadian province Ontario just passed a law permitting the government to take children from their homes if their parents do not affirm their gender identity.

By Michael Brown Published on June 6, 2017

We have not been crying wolf. We have not been exaggerating the danger. The unthinkable is now reality in Canada. And it could be coming to America next.

We Were Warned

In 2012, headlines announced, “Homeschooling families can’t teach homosexual acts sinful in class, says Alberta government.”

As the article explained, “Under Alberta’s new Education Act, homeschoolers and faith-based schools will not be permitted to teach that homosexual acts are sinful as part of their academic program, says the spokesperson for Education Minister Thomas Lukaszuk.”

So, in the privacy of your own home, as you teach and instruct your own children, you would be forbidden by law to teach them what the Bible said about homosexual practice. And how, pray tell, was the government planning to monitor this?

In 2015, Dawn Stefanowicz, herself the child of a gay father who died of AIDS, raised her voice as well. The headline to her article read, “A Warning from Canada: Same-Sex Marriage Erodes Fundamental Rights.”

She wrote:

I want to warn America to expect severe erosion of First Amendment freedoms if the US Supreme Court mandates same-sex marriage. The consequences have played out in Canada for ten years now, and they are truly Orwellian in nature and scope.

In Canada, freedoms of speech, press, religion, and association have suffered greatly due to government pressure. The debate over same-sex marriage that is taking place in the United States could not legally exist in Canada today. Because of legal restrictions on speech, if you say or write anything considered “homophobic” (including, by definition, anything questioning same-sex marriage), you could face discipline, termination of employment, or prosecution by the government.

Canadians Could Lose Their Children

She was not exaggerating. In fact, she may have understated her case. The latest headlines from Canada announce something even more Orwellian: “Canada’s New Law Lets Government Take Children Away If Parents Don’t Accept Their Gender Identity.”

What exactly does this mean?

A Canadian province has passed a law that gives rights to the government to take away children from families that don’t accept their kid’s chosen “gender identity” or “gender expression”.

The Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act of 2017, also know as Bill 89, was passed in Ontario by a vote of 63 to 23, The Christian Times reported.

This is beyond mind-boggling. It might even be beyond Orwellian. Really now, would even Orwell have predicted that the government could seize your 8-year-old boy if you wouldn’t let him dress like a girl or if you refused to affirm his perceived female identity?

For good reason, Jack Fonseca, a political strategist for Campaign Life Coalition, slammed the new bill in no uncertain terms: “With the passage of Bill 89, we’ve entered an era of totalitarian power by the state, such as never witnessed before in Canada’s history. Make no mistake, Bill 89 is a grave threat to Christians and all people of faith who have children, or who hope to grow their family through adoption.”

And it is not just an era of totalitarian power. It is an era of misguided totalitarian power.

Would even Orwell have predicted that the government could seize your 8-year-old boy if you wouldn’t let him dress like a girl?

Not only is it saying that the government, not the parent, knows best. It is saying that the child, not the parent, knows best. It is saying that it is impossible that little Johnny is confused and that one day, he will outgrow his belief that he is really a girl.

No. If he’s convinced he’s a girl and his parents don’t affirm this, he could presumably tell his teachers at school, who would then report this to the government.

Soon enough, there’s a knock at your door, and government agents are taking your son — yes, your very own child — and putting him in a new environment where he can live as Jane.

As nightmarish as this scenario sounds, it is now the law. And it was passed with ease by a vote of 63 to 23.

Soon enough, Johnny will be taking hormone blockers to stop the onset of puberty, and before you know it, he’ll be a lovely young lady, sex-change surgery and all. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Nothing.

Don’t Hit Snooze

There’s a reason that so many of us have been raising our voices so loudly for so many years. It’s not because we hate gays or transgenders. It’s because we foresaw the disastrous consequences of LGBT activism and have been standing as watchmen on the wall, sounding the alarm. I urge you from the bottom of my heart: Please don’t hit the snooze button again.

And please don’t console yourself by saying, “Well, that’s Canada, not America.”

First, are the people of Canada unimportant? Does something matter only if it affects America? Surely you won’t say, “Who cares if Christian families in Canada have their children seized by the government? I’m OK here in America.”

Second, we’ve seen how LGBT activism has become the principle threat to our freedoms of speech, conscience and religion here in the States. Canada is just one step ahead.

Third, already in America, “A federal district court judge just dismissed a mother’s lawsuit, essentially upholding Minnesota’s very harmful and unconstitutional ‘emancipation statute’ that allows minor children — with the aid of outside groups — to leave their families whenever there is conflict, as long as the child is living independently and can support himself or herself.”

LGBT activism has become the principle threat to our freedoms of speech, conscience and religion here in the States. Canada is just one step ahead.

In the case at hand, the mother’s minor son had “decided to be treated with hormones in an effort to ‘change’ his biological sex and to change his name.” The mother opposed this, which was one of the reasons the child sought “emancipation.” Now, the government (here in America!) is helping to underwrite his “transition,” and there’s nothing his mother can do to prevent it.

Recently, the flagship gay publication The Advocate, celebrated an 8-year-old drag queen — meaning, a boy who identifies as a boy but who likes to dress up as a girl. (Interestingly, the boy lives in Canada.)

Yes, “Montreal’s newest drag superstar has the poise of someone four times his age.

“A new girl on the Montreal drag scene is making the city’s other queens look geriatric by comparison. That would be Lactatia — a.k.a. Nemis Quinn Mélançon Golden, an 8-year-old who started getting into drag at the ripe old age of 7.”

In this case, the boy’s parents are highly supportive of him (that’s bad enough). But if they weren’t supportive of him, since this is part of his gender expression, the government could remove him from his home.

This madness must be stopped.

More than ever before we must seek God’s truth and wisdom.

“The Spirit shows what is true and will come and guide you into the full truth. The Spirit doesn’t speak on his own. He will tell you only what he has heard from me, and he will let you know what is going to happen. The Spirit will bring glory to me by taking my message and telling it to you. Everything the Father has is mine. This is why I have said that the Spirit takes my message and tells it to you.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭16:13-15‬ ‭CEV

There are so many living in confusion now.

  • Gary

Canada is a place where liberals will feel at home. And Canada is a place where Christians will be in danger. My hope is that many liberals who currently live in the US will move to Canada, and that the real Christians who live in Canada will come to the US. Legally, of course.

Speaking for myself, and probably for many Christians, if the US follows the Canadian example, there will be a lot of trouble. We are not going to allow the government to take our freedoms.

  • Braden_Campbell

Bill 89 was passed in my home province, Ontario, which also recently enacted a sexual education curriculum for public schools teaching children as young 3rd grade that homosexual relationships are acceptable and quite normal. Ontario has an openly-gay lesbian serving as its Premier.

I’ll leave you to draw your own inferences…

    • Timothy Horton

Good on Ontario! They had the courage to ensure their students are taught scientific reality instead of the ignorance based prejudices in a 2000 year old religious text.

      • JP

The scientific reality is that homosexual sex is deadly. The CDC stats prove that beyond all doubt.

        • ImaginaryDomain

Absolutely right…Ever watch these queers die of AIDS??? Living in NYC for several years, I sure have. It’s absolutely horrible. They usually form a dementia then waste away. So as they die they weigh like 2 ounces and can’t recognize friends or family. Not to mention all of the other rampant STDs in the gay community. And soon these treatable diseases will become untreatable. Then you’ll see these freaks marching and demanding tax dollars to come up with new drugs so they can carry on their perversion.

        • LgVt

You’re wasting your time. Mr. Horton does not even believe gay men need to use condoms.

      • Paul

        There’s your Christophobia again

    • Gary

Why do you continue to live there?

      • Braden_Campbell

Where better to proclaim the gospel than in the places where worldly attitudes reign? A well-lit room doesn’t need a candle as much as a pitch-black basement does.

        • Craig Roberts

Oh please! You moved to the heart of darkness to evangelize? C’mon. You’ve lived their all your life, eh? You hoser. 🙂

          • Braden_Campbell

Yes, Craig, I was born and raised in this “heart of darkness”. I also married here, started a family here, and was called to ministry here. What is so wrong then with wanting to evangelize in the place that God put me?

          • Craig Roberts

Nothing. Good thing there are good men like you there. God bless.

          • algol2000

You have what is called free will to continue to stay in Sodom. Or not.
            Remember Lot(‘s wife).

        • algol2000

Lot also tried to do the same in Sodom and failed. Will you succeed? Will you fight the government and win? Can you save those whose behavior is so perverse as to attract the destruction of the place?

    • Gay couples can get married in Canada … so obviously homosexual relationships ARE acceptable and quite normal.

      • Jones Howell

If every person on earth declared themselves to be gay, that would not make it right. Just because something is common doesn’t make it normal, and just because it is applauded is it not necessarily admirable.

        • It is no more “common” or “admirable” than being left-handed.

          • Michael Kilburg

Being left-handed is influenced by genetics. There’s no “gay gene.”

          • Michael, to the best of my knowledge there has yet to be a gene identified that is connected to being left-handed. But there IS a growing body of evidence that suggests that sexual orientation is influenced by hormonal factors during pregnancy.

          • Gary

It does not matter at all. People are not robots. Behavior is a choice.

          • This is true, Gary. We all have choices to make in terms of how we conduct our personal lives. Some people are happy being single, maybe having “friends with benefits.” Others (like myself) aspire toward monogamy and marriage. Still others make the choice to be celibate. None of these choices have anything to do with a person’s sexual orientation.

          • Hope Assassin

Chuck, some may be born “oriented” to be a homosexual… I certainly was born oriented to be a philanderer – I know this firsthand as I used to commit it for 20+ years before I was delivered, not by my own efforts, but because God wanted it – of that I’m sure.

One’s orientation, bias, genetic predisposition, cultural upbringing, groupthink, etc in no way, shape or form precludes one from making the RIGHT choice regardless of what it costs us. And the right choice has ZERO relationship to how I feel or how I can get another billion people to agree with how I feel – it has everything to do with God and His word and commands. That is the hard truth and no one wants to talk about it until the s**t hits the fan.

          • DEAR MR. ASSASSIN:

I’m reminded of a commentator on a Southern Baptist website who wrote, “I can’t reconcile how someone could feel he or she was born with strong homosexual feelings, love Christ and yet take on the limitations of what seem to me to be straightforward biblical teachings. That’s agonizing, and I don’t really understand it.”

And this is the weird thing: “Straighforward biblical teachings” should at least be understandable to the average person. So often I hear it said, “OUR ways are not GOD’s ways,” as if God was some sort of inscrutable alien being.

Consider The Golden Rule: We do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Put all the religious dogma and ritual aside, and this is what our laws boil down to. We don’t lie or bear false witness because we won’t want people to lie to us. We don’t steal from other people because we do not want people stealing from us. We don’t betray the trust of our spouses because we wouldn’t want them doing the same to us. Same goes for killing and a variety of other “bad” behaviors.

And yet somehow there seems to be this sheepish adherence to a double standard for Gay and Straight people. If you’re Straight, it’s all so wonderful to be able to find a compatible person of the opposite sex, court and get engaged and marry and live happily ever after. But if you’re Gay, all of that is completely out of the question. Don’t even bother trying to find a compatible person. Lesbians and Gay men are precluded from any hope for romance or commitment. Gay people are simply told: “Gosh, sorry about that. You make us uncomfortable; acknowledging your existence means we might have to revise what we’ve been teaching all these years – meaning, Whoops! No infallible Magisterium or “literal” Bible … so you’ll just have to sacrifice your life and any hope of finding somebody to love. Tough luck, kid. God said it, I don’t necessarily understand it, but there it is.”

I wish more social conservatives and Christians would at least TRY to wrap their minds around why this makes so little sense to Gay people.

          • Hope Assassin

Nothing makes sense to a mind that has been removed from the context of what is right and wrong by about 2 million light years. Are you stupid or just just being belligerent here? Do you know that none of what you vomited makes any sense?

          • None of it makes sense if you lack comprehension skills.

          • Hope Assassin

Chuck… your “understanding” of Christianity isn’t even layman at best. It’s non-existent. I’d love to debate hermeneutics with you, I just think it’d be a enormous waste of time. I read your post and your points. You are inventing things that do not exist in any Christian interpretation.

          • Evangeline1031

There is evidence that having a parent, particularly a father, be absent or distant or abusive, is very much determinant of sexual orientation. If girls are not valued and validated, and if boys are not taught the proper role of being male. Anecdotally we see this with the plethora of feminized boys who are sons of single moms.

          • Hi Chuck:

A quick web search found this:
A large study of twins from 25,732 families by Medland et al. (2006) has indicated that the heritability of handedness is roughly 24%.

Plug that sentence into a search engine to find the web page. A good library can help you find the full research study that figure came from.

          • Hope Assassin

Except there’s no moral laws against being left-handed.. There is strong condemnation against homosexuality and various other sins. You a homosexual chuck?

      • Dean Bruckner

So then gay activism is done in Canada, right? All goals are achieved, and there will be no more demands for more concessions, right? Everyone in Canada is at peace with their sexuality. Right?

      • Jason Todd

Point blank, Chuck: Are you in support of what happened here? Yes or no?

        • Hey Jason? I think it’s a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth over nothing. As Michael Brown said, “How, pray tell, was the government planning to monitor this?”

Fact is, the government CAN’T, and they know it. Parents are free to indoctrinate their kids with their own prejudices. Prejudice, after all, is LEARNED. But I feel sorry for any of the Gay youth that are raised in such families. They are going to have some major issues to come to grips with when they realize they are Gay.

          • Jason Todd

And you are avoiding the question.

Are you in support of this? Yes or no?

          • Paul

Yea right, as if kids never speak outside the home about what they learn from their parents. A number of families will be destroyed to make an example of to keep everyone else in line marching to the homosexual drum.

          • Hope Assassin

…said chuck, the most unprejudiced human being who came here to tell us we’re all prejudiced…..

          • Gay people are the ones telling Straight people they shouldn’t have the right to get married.

          • Hope Assassin

No, they’re just suing them out of existence. Buy a clue man.

      • Pablo

Chuck, in other words you are saying that the State dictates what is right and what is wrong, what is ethical and what is unethical. That is a very foolish way of thinking. You need only take a look at History, where countless governments have committed atrocities in the name of Ethics.

    • Evangeline1031

Canada is spiraling down the toilet, while Canadians keep quiet so they can remain “comfortable”. This will not work for long.

  • hisbelovedlizc

We all say “this must be stopped” in so many areas where there is government overreach, but the question is how? Other than prayer and God’s miraculous intervention, just what is it we can do? I have been signing petitions, praying in front of abortion clinics and praying in general. It’s been a long time since I’ve written a letter to Congress because it falls on deaf ears anyway. I hate to be a naysayer, but what can we really DO?!

    • Gary

If you want to keep your children safe, you have to either hide them from those who would harm them, or move them to a safe location. Christian Canadians may still have time to move. But a government that will do this sort of thing will eventually try to keep people from leaving.

    • Braden_Campbell

Raise your children in godly ways from a young age, so that when they come into their turbulent tween and teen years, and have to confront and deal with issues like sexuality and sexual identity, they will be strong enough in the faith and confident enough in God’s morality to hold their ground. In other words, work to make it a non-issue in your family before it ever has the chance to become an issue.

      • Timothy Horton

Strong indoctrination into a religion doesn’t affect a person’s sexual orientation one iota. All it does is cause huge confusion and emotional damage in those LGBT teens unfortunate enough to be raised in an intolerant religious household. There is a reason the suicide rate among religious LGBT teens is so much higher than the rest of the teen population.

        • Jones Howell

People kill themselves because they cannot live with themselves because of what they have done to themselves.

        • Billy Chickens

Timmy, you’re a troll. Go under the bridge and keep quiet.

        • Gary

A nice solution to the homosexual problem.

          • Jennifer Hartline

            Shame on you, Gary.

          • Gary

God said homosexual behavior warrants the death penalty. Do you mean to disagree?

          • Christian Cowboy

God shows us mercy and grace as Christians – if He doesn’t show the same to everyone – we have no hope. I am amazed at the hate you have towards homosexuals and call yourself a Christian.

          • Gary

You mean if God does not treat everyone the way He treats Christians, then Christians have no hope? Or do you mean something else?

          • Christian Cowboy

Meaning if God cannot save homosexuals, we have no hope. Don’t condemn them – pray for them.

          • Gary

God can do anything he wants. God condemns homosexuals. Shouldn’t I agree with him?

          • Evangeline1031

Straw man argument. That argument has no basis here. You are using extreme name calling to try to intimidate someone you want to control. Go away.

          • Christian Cowboy

Not going anywhere-I will continue to challenge Christians to correct in love-not hate.

        • Evangeline1031

Or could it be these kids commit suicide because they are vulnerable prey for sexual predators who take advantage of them for their own selfish purposes. I’ve seen what that does, it can wreck a young person, and causes them confusion and pain for a lifetime. It is a demonic evil to prey on a child or young person. This has evolved from “what two people do alone is their business” to “we demand sexual access to children”. NO. No, you may not have that. Not now. Not ever.

        • Gary

I disagree with them banning you. That might be the only thing you and I agree on, but if they are going to allow comments, they should allow comments from all sides of the issue at hand.

I have been banned from commenting on several liberal websites. Some people only want to see points of view that support what they believe. Are they afraid what they believe can’t stand up to opposing views?

          • Ken Abbott

I suspect the action had more to do with TH’s style than his content, Gary.

        • Hope Assassin

The confusion arises from their s**tty choices to be immoral, not because they are born with anything, you numbskull…

    • Dean Bruckner

Do not be weary in doing the right thing, because you will reap a harvest if you do not quit!

    • Evangeline1031

The people need to fill the streets, by the hundreds of thousands, and demand change. You kick out your political “leaders” and put in someone who will see it your way. Pray and act.

    • algol2000

You have been praying in vain. God gave man free will for a reason. Live free or die trying.

  • Ken Abbott

“in the case of those who were denounced to me as Christians, I have observed the following procedure: I interrogated these as to whether they were Christians; those who confessed I interrogated a second and a third time, threatening them with punishment; those who persisted I ordered executed. For I had no doubt that, whatever the nature of their creed, stubbornness and inflexible obstinacy surely deserve to be punished.”

“You observed proper procedure…in sifting the cases of those who had been denounced to you as Christians. For it is not possible to lay down any general rule to serve as a kind of fixed standard. They are not to be sought out; if they are denounced and proved guilty, they are to be punished, with this reservation, that whoever denies that he is a Christian and really proves it–that is, by worshiping our gods–even though he was under suspicion in the past, shall obtain pardon through repentance.”

Burn a pinch of incense, recite the formula, “Caesar is lord,” and all will be well…

  • ImaginaryDomain

As I’ve said before, much to my dismay, the endgame for the “gay” community is unfettered access to your kids. I teach my kids all the time how homosexuality is dangerous and corrosive to body, soul and mind. Over my dead body is how some gubmit kook would need to remove my kids from my house because I stand against this craziness. These are the types of things that start wars…

    • Dean Bruckner

Open man-on-child rape, on demand, in broad daylight, in the public square does not seem far away.

    • Paul

Over your dead body… there’s plenty of deviants who would be happy to oblige you and then take your kids.

      • ImaginaryDomain

There wont be any left if they try that…this you can be sure of. If they get through me, then they’ll have a real fight on their hands with my wife and 11 yo daughter. They’re both mean shots and deadly accurate.

      • Evangeline1031

There are some things worth going to the mat for. Only cowards deny that.

        • Jerryb53

So true Evangeline. If you have to die then so be it….There is nothing to say now. It’s gone to far. The time for talk is over. If a government agency knocks on your door to take your kid away you shoot them dead on the spot. If more come you get your friends and neighbors to form a militia and you shoot dead any group that comes to your home to take your children away. You die if you have to but this is not Godly for the government to take kids away from their parents.

It’s time to start defending our rights and don’t let the courts tread on them. God’s law comes first and defending your children from Tyranny is a right given to us by God. As parents God demands that we raise them according to His Law. Homosexuality is forbidden by God. So defending your children is justified if they try to take them away from you. Let their be blood in the streets if this happens in America.

      • Jerryb53

YOU GO DOWN FIGHTING. Your words are words from a person who is not willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for his children. As a parent it’s your duty to watch over them even if it means giving your life for them. End of Story. So let the deviants come and see what they get.

        • Paul

My words are intended to remind people of what we are actually dealing with. I’ve heard big talk for many years about stuff like this, but that isn’t the game the progressives play. They chip away at liberty bit by bit, acclimating the sheeple over time, over generations. They can move faster in places like Canada where the sheeple have been disarmed. Easier to fleece what can’t bite back. But even here in the US where is the righteous revolt? Just look at the utter mess we’re in, where are the tough talkers? They’ve been largely outplayed by folks working day after day to shape our society in their twisted image. Maybe someday there will finally be a spark that blows it all up but just how much worse must it get? And to those who read this and think it really isn’t that bad I thank you for illustrating my point.

          • Jerryb53

True it’s an uphill battle but when the Nazi’s started rounding up people they did nothing. One of the men said years ago they should have taken axes, knives, clubs and beat the nazi’s when they entered their homes. he said he would have rather died fighting then being led to slaughter in the concentration camps. History repeats itself so we have a lesson right in front of our eyes.

    • algol2000

I agree with you absolutely. These nutters only respect those who meet violence with violence. It is back to the Wild Wild West once again! Real men do not live while they watch their progeny rot before their eyes or being used in prostitution rings.

    • Jerryb53

Here’s my take Domain—-There is nothing to say now.

This is what the globalists want: People living mindlessly and by the flesh. Trudeau is very much a globalist puppet, and is just doing what he is told to help enslave people. Truly remarkable that they’ve got it to the point where people actually celebrate their own enslavement.

  • Pablo

It is now our responsibility as Christians to sincerely pray for those that live in confusion -the LGBT community- and especially for those in government who will soon attempt to remove children from their loving parents. God help us.

    • Praying might help you feel better about yourself, but prayer never had any effect on objective reality.

      • Gary

        I disagree.

      • Pablo

I appreciate your heartwarming comment. But that is entirely a matter of faith, which I will not discuss about here.

      • Evangeline1031

Why are you here. Begone Satan.

There you go.There is nothing to say now.

Are Christians in Canada dead, asleep or unconscious in some way? How long will they permit this moral atrophy of their country to the point of self destruction?

    • Paul

      They’re watching hockey 😉

      • Craig Roberts

        Hoser.

    • Braden_Campbell

I believe the unique challenge that Christians in my country must face is that, as Canadians, we strive for tolerance, inclusion, and to be unoffensive. Most of the time, these are noble traits. However, in some ways they have also made us soft and “asleep” and afraid to rock the boat.

      • Evangeline1031

Well Braden, there it is in a nutshell. When people care less about Jesus Christ and living according to His principles, and more for the demonically inspired tolerance, inclusion and being inoffensive, they have chosen a side, and here comes the logical outcome of that decision, subjugation, perverse behaviors, and madness. The Canadian people are now weak, frightened rabbits, willing to do whatever it takes to “survive”. Your government is now your god.

        • algol2000

But that was the Pauline advise to the “faihtful”. Obey all persons in authority (to your own peril). SMH.

      • Aliquantillus

If you strive for tolerance, inclusion and to be inoffensive, you have already denied Christ. He was intolerant, exclusive, and offensive when it came to telling the truth and showing the way to eternal life.

I’m also from Canada, and I don’t believe that “tolerance, inclusion, and (being) unoffensive” are unique to Canada at all. Those terms are apostate Christian doctrines that plague apostate Christian nations the world over. In Canada, the left wing dominates the media, and thereby the Canadian narrative. If you ask Canadians what the Canadian identity is, most will say something about accepting other people’s identity, mostly because we’ve been shamed so much about our actual history, namely that Canada was built by Christian British Empire loyalists. Anything Christian or British is considered “oppression”, because really that’s the view of any system of divine, immutable law. By the way, Christ’s warning to end time believers is that BECAUSE LAWLESSNESS WILL ABOUND, the love of many will grow cold. How many Churches around the world are teaching greasy grace without the law or repentance from sin?

      • Jerryb53

To be unoffensive, isn’t that what your Government is doing by enacting this law, being offensive to the citizenry and God.There is nothing to say now. It’s gone to far. God bless you my brother, because that has got to be a very challenging path of pure compromise & cowardice down which you Canadian believers (American one’s too) have been heading; especially when the “God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” will, in the final analysis, have shown Himself to be both UN-apologetically & UN-ambiguously “intolerant,” NON-“inclusive” – and whose “gospel of salvation” (our message) is demonstrably MOST “offensive,” to the core of “fallen” man’s prideful heart!

Yet we’re His “ambassadors” while here on earth?? I believe the Lord Jesus said something about that “count the cost” stuff, at the very outset; kuz representing Him sure ain’t like going through the “drive-thru” at Burger King – where we “get it our way”??? My Bible tells me so.

      • Hope Assassin

Noble traits are not what is at stake here. Not saying it’s happening yet in Canada, but if it does, a government going after children who are taught that homosexuality is a sin points to a very profound, galaxy sized problem that Canada and its CINO population has inflicted upon itself – an inversion of the moral compass God gave us. We all know from history what happens to countries and empires who deviate from the personal behavior Jesus Christ prescribed for us all – they self-implode, regardless of their economic or military might or standing in the world. A self-implosion and collapse of countries who veer off on their own self-invented “moral” path isn’t debatable, it’s assured.

And it always begins like this, in the name of “tolerance, inclusion and political correctness”, until your throat is going to be stepped on and you will at that point capitulate by pretending you were Jesus Christ who bore the sins of the Canadian libtard population (including your uber-metrosexual PM, Justin Bieber, sorry, Trudeau…) by letting them walk all over you and your families.

A Canadian – I’m not kidding – in all seriousness told me that when attacked, the true Christian’s response should be to not defend him or herself but to “turn the other cheek”, as in, stand there and take it. Talk about completely misguided interpretation of the message… (no, I’m not going to get into what it means, look it up yourselves).

This is -exactly- in line with the kind of thinking you just espoused Braden – and I’ve nothing against you, but it is no coincidence my ex-colleague said what you just described here…..

What kind of a soul sickness, apathy and lethargy has covered the Canadian soil, is beyond me…. But if you think Canada is somehow exempt from judgment….

        Think again.

Just another textbook empirical example of this incoherent moral “avalanche” in-cultural-motion, taking place before our eyes throughout the West, Dr. Brown (of which you’ve mentioned before) – and certainly not that of a “slippery-slope.”

Yet this secularized [i.e., Godless] western government-imposed example of PC/LGBT ideology, targeting certain despicable religious citizens within its jurisdiction – under the form of a wholly politicized “might-makes-right” agenda at that – seems strangely similar to that which happens to those unfortunate religiously resolute individuals, forced [or “subjugated”] to live under the tyrannical regimes of certain Islamic-dominated Sharia Law countries, or nation’s? And this is the sort of “public policy” initiative, of which ultra-sophisticated 21st-century folks in the West say exemplifies science-based reason? Come again???

If push comes to shove, we the people are woefully outgunned.

      • Jerryb53

So were the soldiers at the Alamo yet they fought to their last breath. So what if we are out numbered. I’m willing to die for my freedom are you.

      • Liberty4Evr

The people are not outgunned. They are unorganized.

        • Paul

I can only speak for myself and those I know, we don’t have armored vehicles, body armor, full auto weapons, tear gas, helicopters, arrest powers, etc. If you do I applaud your preparedness. If you don’t then you are outgunned.

    • Gary

The problem with killing government agents who come for your kids is that more will come and you’ll be dead, and the government still gets your kids. You don’t do your children any good if you are dead. If you live in a place where this kind of gov. policy is legal, its time to move. When they show up at your door for your kids, it might be too late. If they take your kids, you will have to try to get them back before you relocate. As soon as they pass a law like this, get out before they show up at your door.

      • Jerryb53

As an American citizen I follow what our Founders did. Never let tyranny force you to move. This is my home and Country. if I have to die then so be it. If more come more will die because there is a militia movement in America that will come to people’s aid. If our Founders followed your plan we’d be England. What are you going to do run away every time tyranny reigns. The world has flat run out of free places to live except America. This is the last stand buddy. Defending your children is a God given right.

        • Gary

This isn’t 1776. My children are more important than trying to shoot it out with the police, national guard, state police, FBI, or whoever might come. I don’t object to violence, if needed, but I would choose another time and place, preferably when my children were safe. But you are free to do what you want, of course.

          • Jerryb53

So how will you protect your children when they come for them? Will you just let them invade your home and take your kids away from you maybe permanently.

          • Gary

If I lived in a state that passes a law like this, I would move. If they showed up at my door before I could get my kids out, I’m not sure what I would do. It would depend on whether the people who showed up were armed. But I know this, if I have a shootout at my home, with my children there, one, or more of my children might be injured or killed. And I might be killed. If the gov. people are unarmed, I would probably try to take my kids to another location.

          • Jerryb53

            It’s a lot worse than 1776.

  • Therese

Where are our cowardly religious “leaders?” Only an idiot still refuses to connect the dots: church, government, schools, entertainment industry, society falling down, down, down into selfish sin.

    • Jerryb53

Therese it’s the silence for the Roman Catholic Clergy that has allowed this to happen. After Vatican 2 the clergy became secularized. We need more clergy like Bishop Fulton Sheen. He predicted this would happen back in the 1950’s. Luckily I have a Father in my parish who celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass and preaches from the pulpit about this evil government and Satan. He is old school and I’m so glad I’m in his parish.

    God’s eyes are watching Canada.

    • Since you are so chummy with God, maybe you can persuade Him to hold a press conference. There are a lot of contemporary issues (unknown to ancient Israel) that I sure would like to get His opinion on.
