Watch: 8th Grader Nails Impersonations of the 2016 Candidates in Graduation Speech

By The Stream Published on June 16, 2016

When Illinois 8th-grader Jack Aiello of Thomas Middle School stood up to deliver an address at his graduation, he had a surprise for the audience. “I’ve decided that since we’re in the middle of an election year, that I would do my graduation speech in the style of some of the 2016 presidential candidates.” Jack went on to deliver hysterical, spot-on impersonations of Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, with President Obama thrown in as well. The young impressionist’s eight-minute tour-de-force is rapidly going viral. You’ll quickly see why.

Sen. Ted Cruz, for one, certainly enjoyed the show.
