USAID: The Life Blood of The Deep State

Vintage Deep State: U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, joined by Bethlehem Mayor Vera Baboun, listens to a member of a USAID-sponsored Local Youth Council during a visit to the West Bank on November 6, 2013.

Since the swearing-in of Donald Trump in 2016, the American populace has had frontline seats to the drama of a “state behind the state” slowly revealing itself.

From the outer fringes of the media, the precincts of Glenn Beck and Alex Jones, the Deep State went from being careless to brash in the process of trying to remove a sitting president and quell the groundswell of a constitutionally conservative movement.

The revealing of the Deep State is now in full overdrive as the Trump administration has the let loose the instruments of sanitation.

One of the many questions about collusion and corruption in the political machinery of Washington D.C. is about “the money.” How is that members of Congress become immensely wealthy to the tune of tens of millions of dollars on a salary of less than $200,000?

Given the massive corruption and scandal involved in the billions of dollars given to NGOs to facilitate illegal immigration, what are the instruments by which we are funding NGOs? Are members of Congress involved in this money funneling? What else are taxpayers funding under the guise of “humanitarian aid?”

Enter the United States Agency for International Development, or USAID.

Unfettered Instrument of Taxpayer Money Distribution

The USAID organization is a governmental agency in charge of distributing foreign aid and development assistance (whatever that broad umbrella term may mean) to various countries in need.

A key USAID instrument for monetary distribution is the Non-Governmental Organization entity (NGO). These are charitable and tax-exempt organizations, many of whom extend the arms of American values, the overflow of affluence to people in need.

But the last 48 hours have seen a remarkable uncloaking of not only recipients of American taxpayer earnings, but also the very process by which monies are distributed.

Mike Benz, the director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, has revealed a torrent of mind-numbing information about the activity and connections of USAID money flow. As a former State Department official responsible for informing US foreign policy on technology matters, Benz is most certainly an expert on all things big tech, and he is also a big picture thinker who understands the inner workings of governance.

Buckle up: Benz has revealed many USAID connections, and here are some of the more eye-popping examples that you should consider carefully.

You Were Funding Your Own Censorship

USAID helped fund the internet censorship we endured from the 2020 election through the throes of the pandemic. As Benz describes it, USAID had written policies relative to funding organizations that stop online “misinformation and political populism.”

Let that sink in.

You Were Funding Hunter Biden’s Crack Smoking and Cavorting

Benz has revealed that USAID had a formal memorandum of understanding with the Ukrainian for-profit gas company, Burisma, that paid Hunter Biden to be a board member to the tune of $50,000 per month.

You Were Funding Hunter Biden’s Crack Smoking and Cavorting Part 2

You may not know that in addition to being an oil and gas expert, the infamous Biden progeny was also a bioweapons research maven who happened to provide $500,000 in investment funding to a company called Metabiota.

Metabiota collaborates with the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to monitor and study infectious diseases and the potential for biological threats.

Why does this matter? One of the known research efforts in the field of biodefense revolves around predicting future bioweapons and developing defense strategies against them. If the hair on the back of your neck is standing up, then you’re right on track. Gain-of-function (GoF) is precisely the process of testing potential future biothreats by creating new-fangled versions in a laboratory setting.

Back to Metabiota.

Benz has revealed that USAID provided funding for Metabiota, which conducted laboratory work in — wait for it … Ukraine. What on earth, you ask, is a US funding instrument ostensibly focused on humanitarian aid doing funding bioweapons research through a company that was paying the then-vice president’s son, in a country that happens to also be home to Burisma, and that has been embroiled in a terrible war through which their government has received over $100 billion dollars of untraceable US aid?

Is it reasonable that these connections are purely coincidental?

You Helped Fund the GoF Creation of SARS-CoV-2

The fact that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was a lab creation was settled in the minds of fellow science geeks years ago after the revelation that specific insertions (specifically, the furin cleavage site of the spike protein) point directly to lab-made construction.

The proximal outbreak near a lab that specifically studies virology in Wuhan, China (where the National Institutes of Health just happened to be funding experiments via the EcoHealth Alliance) assigns an enormous mathematical probability to the origin of the virus (also confirmed as the leading theory via CIA and new director John Ratcliffe last week).

Any guesses about which governmental agency focused on humanitarian efforts provided funds to the Wuhan laboratory in China? That’s right, USAID. It was specifically involved in funding the PREDICT program at Wuhan from 2009 to 2019.

Let that sink in.

We figured out fairly quickly that COVID-19 was not akin to airborne ebola (despite the Mach 10 fearmongering of the government and media), but it was still a virus severe enough to induce the death of millions of people worldwide. And unbeknownst to us, we helped to fund its creation via USAID.

What About the Covid-19 mRNA?

USAID did indeed play a part in mRNA technology research, which included Moderna’s development of the COVID-19 gene therapy. (Technically, the mRNA fit this classification more soundly than that of a “vaccine.”)

Right about now you should be wondering why the Biden administration gave Anthony Fauci, the director of infectious diseases at the NIH, Anthony Fauci, a blanket preemptive pardon.

Are Members of Congress Linked to USAID Distribution?

Let’s take a close look at USAID and potential connections to US politicians.

Sources on X Sunday were providing links between NGOs that receive USAID funding and members of Congress who draw salaries from various positions at those NGOs.

For example, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is on the board of directors (per IRS 990 Forms) at the International Republican Institute. Who helps fund this nonprofit? USAID, of course.

Another USAID recipient is National Endowment for Democracy, with members including the infamous Victoria Nuland, Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX), a Princeton dean named Amaney Jamal, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Beigun (R), and former U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor Juan Zarate (R). The list goes on and on with a who’s-who of former politicians, highly placed academics, and even a big-tech executive.

The Life Blood of the Deep State

The depth of corruption potentially tied to the USAID distribution of taxpayer monies is shocking and reprehensible, but that does not mean there are fringes of funding that aren’t necessary and good. But if these revelations continue at the current pace, one must accept the potential that some of the good will be at risk due to so much of the bad.

In the meantime, what are we to do?

Humans have a curious proclivity to fight against anything that disrupts life’s predictability. Anyone who is tempted to go back to their three-foot world just because Donald Trump won the election are captives of this normalcy bias.

This is not the time for rest. We are in the midst of a very rare moment: the chance to disinfect corruption that is far deeper than we have allowed ourselves to imagine.

As Christians, we know that we are in the battlefield of powers and principalities. Our home is not on this rock. Our life in this tent is only for this time of testing.

Keep a close eye on these developments, pray fiercely that our country can be cleaned of these entanglements with darkness — and above all gird your loins. The USAID revelations are just beginning.
