Once Upon a Time in America We Lost Our Courage, and Madness Reigned

By Jennifer Hartline Published on September 16, 2016

Once upon a time, the freedom of speech was cherished and fiercely protected in America. Then one day, a small but powerful group of people insisted that since they believed the sky was red, so must everyone believe, and profess the same under penalty of law. Since this group disliked the limitations of the “traditional” compass, they added their own meanings to North, South, East and West, and even added their own new directions, even though those new directions didn’t actually exist. Naturally, people everywhere quickly began to get lost, since the new compass made absolutely no sense, and was quite contradictory to observable reality.

Before long, the meanings of many other words were forcibly changed; strange and meaningless words were invented and mandated; and more and more, people’s thinking became unmoored from reality, and soon the whole society was adrift in a sea of nonsense.

It all began with the meanings of words, the power of speech and the tyranny of falsehood. From such seemingly non-violent beginnings, a complete takeover was achieved, and the rational was buried by the irrational; reason was forfeited to lunacy; and the truth was declared hateful.

This is the precipice on which we stand right now.

Where’s the courage? Why is America suddenly populated with fragile flowers and silent cowards?

Stand!

Yes, cowards. That’s what we are if we allow madness to take over every facet of society without so much as a protest in the streets. Why are intelligent adults caving in to this preposterous notion that the human person comes in 50+ gender varieties? Or the ridiculous and inhuman idea that a man can become a woman? Why are we allowing our government to dictate what we can speak, how we must address another person, and what we must think regarding human sexuality?

You don’t need anyone to tell you that men are incapable of becoming pregnant, giving birth and breastfeeding a baby. You know that. You know perfectly well that we are created male and female, and that it is not possible for one to “transition” into the other.

You know that.

You already know that it is wrong to force young girls to undress and shower in the same room with boys. If you’re a decent parent at all, you know that your sons and daughters not only deserve, but require, privacy and separation from the opposite sex in such situations. No decent man would ever be content to have strange men getting naked in front of his daughter in the gym locker room, or sharing the dressing rooms with his wife and daughters.

So why are you suddenly fainting and going along with such violations? Why are you sacrificing your childrens’ modesty and welfare on the altar of LGBTQXYZ-think? When did delusion become such a fearsome, greedy and powerful tyrant that you just surrender all reason and morality?

Just Say No to Gibberish

I will not speak the new language of gibberish. It is not merely nonsense, but falsehood. I will not surrender the truth of the human person to an ideology that is inhuman and demonic. I certainly will not sacrifice my children on this new pagan altar.

And I will not be labeled using the terms of madness. Don’t call me “cisgender.” I am female; a woman, in every literal and metaphysical sense.

The reason I am not “cisgendered” is because the term is needless and insidious. It implies that a disordered, insane philosophy is reasonable and superior, and then reclassifies the human person according to its disorder. The human person cannot be “transgender” or “genderqueer” or “pangender”, no matter what the officials in New York say. We must not agree to allow what is real to be reframed within the context of the unreal. We do not testify to the truth using terms that are inherently untrue and rooted in disorder.

Protect the Children

We must keep our eye on the ball here, which is our children. With frightening speed, the Madness Mandate is taking over the education system in America, and our sons and daughters are undergoing “reprogramming” to condition them to accept without resistance that sexuality and gender are separate and fluid concepts, or intolerant social constructs, and that a person’s feelings always invalidate physical, biological reality. They will be brought up in the ways of the “LGBTQXYZ” ideology, and the freedom to dissent will not be granted.

They will be required to learn the Newspeak and speak it or face their own penalties in school; perhaps failing grades; ridicule and shaming; suspension from activities or school itself; even expulsion. Conform or else.

Shame on us if we abandon our children to face this tyrannical bully for themselves while we cave in to try and save ourselves some grief. Shame on us if we don’t fight for their bodily, intellectual and spiritual integrity. Woe to us if we leave them to be deformed by a demonic ideology.

Who would choose to settle for this barren, bizarre and hopeless version of life, when the truth is beautiful, rich, and brings with it the vibrant life God desires for His children? Right reason brings order and prosperity. Right reason is freedom.

Find your courage!

God’s Plan for the Human Family is Worth Fighting For

There is nothing bigoted or hateful about testifying to the truth — that we are created male and female by design, out of love and for love; that these two sexes are made to complement and complete one another; that sex and gender are not unrelated or mutually exclusive; that God’s plan for the human family is father, mother and child, and this plan is not an outdated, unachievable ideal.

Our freedom of speech is already being taken away by a government using its power to act as thought and speech police. If we do not speak now while we still have the chance, the chance will soon be gone for good. The only reason this madness has taken as much ground as it has is that too many people have been intimidated and shamed into compliance, or have told themselves there’s really nothing to fret about. The threat of a scarlet letter “B” for bigot has become a merciless bully. But bullies can be brought down.

Find your courage!

If we do not, that nightmarish “Once upon a time in America …” will be written in the history books for our descendants to weep over.
