Twitter Hashtag Celebrates Adoption

Yesterday, the macabre hashtag #ShoutYourAbortion hit Twitter, celebrating abortion. Largely, women were arguing that their abortions have allowed them to pursue other things life, while ignoring that this would have been equally possible had they chosen adoption.

That didn’t escape the notice of so many on Twitter whose lives have been touched by adoption, and the alternative hashtag #ShoutYourAdoption popped up to support that choice. Here are a few of those tweets, from birth parents, adoptive parents, and adopted children, which celebrate life.
