Mashable: Trump’s Victory Speech Promoted Fake Trump Products … Really

By The Stream Published on March 9, 2016

Last night was a good night for Donald Trump, as he won three of four primaries — even after Mitt Romney came out strongly against Trump and several of his businesses that Romney said were failures, frauds or both. Given the amount of time Trump devoted to some of those products in his victory speech, Romney apparently hit a nerve.

Trump used the celebration to trot out what he seemed to be presenting as Trump steaks, though in fact they have been discontinued, and the samples at his event actually came from a local butcher, Trump wine (which is actually his son’s company) and Trump magazine (which folded in 2009; what was presented at the event was actually something different and more modest).

Mashable has an inventory here, separating the claims at the Trump celebration from reality.
