They Lied to “Save Democracy” from the Voters
The pieces are coming together. We’re finally getting some answers, despite the thick clouds of ink squeezed out by our media, the official lies chanted like mantras, and the gross redaction of documents ferreted out of the Deep State.
Thanks to some dogged officials inside the Trump administration, and the grunt work done by journalists such as James O’Keefe, Julie Kelly, and the ferocious Laura Loomer, we’re starting to understand the nature of the slow-motion coup d’etat that was launched against our country in 2019. We’re also learning crucial truths from disgruntled Biden enablers in the media like the exquisitely opportunistic Jake Tapper.
A “Politburo” Governed Our Country
The New York Post published a bombshell story drawing on Tapper’s new tell-all book, Original Sin, about who was actually running the Biden campaign in 2020 and the United States of America for four years after that. News flash: It wasn’t Joe Biden, who was so mentally impaired that he was little more than an advisor/figurehead for a shifting committee of decision-makers that Tapper calls the “Politburo.” Yes, that was the name of the shadowy figures who used to run the Soviet Union when it had senile leaders.
Tapper reveals that dozens, if not hundreds, of high-level Democrats knew how impaired Biden was for at least his last two years in office — though his decline was obvious to most of us as far back as his flaccid 2020 performance in debates and his sleepy campaign from a basement in the general election. Those Democrats lied about it to reporters, who pretended to believe them and aggressively pushed the line that Joe Biden was as “sharp as a tack” to millions of Americans — even as a federal prosecutor tasked with investigating Biden’s abuse of classified documents concluded that he was likely unfit to stand trial.
“Sharp as a tack” was the Official Story right up till the night of Biden’s debate with Donald Trump last June, when Americans saw with our own eyes precisely the condition Biden was really in — as he asked for our votes so he could continue governing and controlling the nuclear football for four more years. All of this happened, mind you, while he faced a slow-growing, easily detectable prostate cancer we’re now supposed to believe nobody knew about.
Who Was Running the Country and Signing Pardons While Biden Dreamt About Ice Cream?
Meanwhile, important executive orders — and later pardons — were being signed by autopen. The dogged Ed Martin is hunting down the truth on that score:
Ed Martin, the incoming pardon attorney at the Department of Justice and head of the DOJ’s Weaponization Working Group, announced last week that he is investigating the questionable use of the presidential autopen for issuing pardons during the final days of the Bidan… pic.twitter.com/42J5khL2Dm

That autopen story has legs — and they might carry multiple Biden administration figures straight into federal court and possibly prison. Martin has apparently found a whistleblower willing to testify that the presidential autopen was used repeatedly without Biden’s consent or knowledge, perhaps as a result of money changing hands.

Did any of those Democratic public officials or decorated journalists feel guilty about their systematic campaign of lies to the American people? How did they justify deception on a such a grand scale, on such a crucial question as whether the leader of the most powerful nation on earth was fit to serve? Here Tapper offers a crucial insight that explains much more than he realizes. He told PBS:
[T]he central justification for the Biden candidacy was he’s the only one that has ever beaten Trump, and Trump poses an existential threat to the country. If you convince yourself that those two statements are true, you can justify anything.
You Can Justify Anything
What does Trump call the actions of public officials governing instead of the duly elected president, and trying to fool the public into reelecting him so they can go on ruling illegally? As we saw above, he calls that “treason.” But the campaign of lies about Biden’s fitness for office was part of something much larger than that. From the night Trump was elected, a vast national jihad of “resistance” was launched throughout the government itself, dedicated to delegitimizing Trump, crippling him in office, smearing him with false charges of being a foreign agent, and destroying his loyal appointees, including General Mike Flynn.
Because it was led by top-level intelligence officials in the CIA and FBI and included high-ranking military officers (such as General Mark Milley, who secretly told Chinese President Xi Jinping he would disobey Trump’s orders), it’s accurate to call the campaign of the powerful to cancel the will of the voters a coup d’etat. It was launched for our own good, of course, to counter an “existential threat to the country.”
The coup kicked into high gear right after Trump’s triumphant 2019 State of the Union address with a weaponized virus our own government had helped invent, which escaped from the Chinese lab Anthony Fauci had subcontracted to finalize its research. The coup continued with tightly coordinated, violent street riots over the botched arrest of a career criminal named George Floyd. These came amid a brutal lockdown, mass censorship, and forced vaccinations. Thousands of veterans and grandmothers in nursing homes in blue states were infected with COVID when their governors dumped virus patients in the one place where they were certain to kill people.
That kept the death rates high, which was necessary to justify grossly expanded, unverifiable mail-in ballots in the election. Voting in person was simply too dangerous, though Black Lives Matter riots weren’t, since (as multiple media outlets kept reminding us) “racism is a threat to public health.” Whatever that means. Behind the scenes, attorneys like Marc Elias were suing in dozens of states to make such ballots legal and dismantle every other safeguard against voter fraud.
The Crackdown
Then came a stolen election, with voting machines conveniently breaking down simultaneously in exactly the swing states where Trump had been leading. A vote in Congress on disputed electors was halted by the police riot of January 6, which only took place because Trump was prevented from deploying the National Guard to prevent it. That violence justified a second fake impeachment and a brutal crackdown on conservatives and Christians throughout the four-year Biden regime.
Ten million or more illegal aliens were waved into the country and distributed through swing states, conveniently placed where lax election laws and corrupt voting machines could add illegal votes as needed. A cover story in TIME magazine actually lionized the coup plotters’ achievements in “saving democracy” from the voters.
Their last chess move may have come in the form of two easily preventable (but not prevented) attempts to assassinate Trump during his campaign — which if successful, would have cemented the new regime in place, perhaps forever. America would be set irrevocably on the same path as Britain, with political opposition essentially criminalized and orthodox Christianity classified as hate speech.
And now we learn, thanks to Jake Tapper’s eagerness to have a bestselling book, how utterly cynical the coup plotters really were and the story they told themselves to justify their countless criminal actions: They were saving the country. They lied to us, locked us down, infiltrated our churches, and labeled us “domestic extremists” and “quasi-fascists” to protect us from ourselves.
And now their allies in the federal judiciary are stepping in to save us again by seizing the president’s legal authority for themselves. Same coup, different tactics.
