The Catholic Servants of Her Dissembling Majesty Hillary Clinton

According to the polls, it seems a majority of Catholics are prepared to elect Hillary Clinton. Insane!

National polls suggest a majority of Catholics are prepared to elect Hillary Clinton in November. I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but frankly, I’m gob-smacked. As a woman, I find it disgraceful; as an Army wife, insulting; and as a Catholic, preposterous.

I can only conclude that Catholics, as a voting bloc, are the most gullible, the most confused, or the most hypocritical people around. They could probably be persuaded to support funding the rescue, care and breeding of the lions that would soon tear them to pieces thanks to the leaders they elected. For now, they are strangely content to maintain in power those who are committed to making sure more and more of their children and grandchildren are torn to pieces in the womb, and that it’s paid for with everyone’s tax dollars. (But don’t worry — they hate guns and oppose the death penalty for murderers, so it’s all good.)

When Hillary declares that “deep-seated religious beliefs … have to be changed” to accommodate abortion, I suppose they either agree with her, in open defiance of Church teaching, or they let such threats to their religious liberty and human life go in one ear and out the other.

Hillary compromises national security while Secretary of State. She displays her incompetence and indifference to the law by “carelessly” mishandling classified information. She lies, and lies, and lies about said mishandling. And she demonstrates an arrogant contempt for such silly things as rules and laws.

What can Catholics possibly say to excuse all this? Integrity is irrelevant? Honesty is an overrated virtue? Competence is too much to ask? Respect for religious freedom is unimportant? National security is a trifle?

Oh wait, I remember now: She’s female — we’re making history here!

Yeah, it’ll go down in history, alright. For the sake of a sexist check-mark on the historical score-card, time immemorial will know the American voters knowingly chose the most thoroughly corrupt, dishonorable, incompetent woman to have ever held national office. Bravo.

What is wrong with American women? For the great distinction of being the first female President of the United States, we really can’t do better than Hillary Clinton? We’re really content with a woman who has demonstrated an embarrassing level of cluelessness and carelessness on the job? If the goal is to show that women are as smart and capable as men, with the same ability to lead and govern, why on earth is Hillary even on the ballot? Her skill set is lying, concealing, defying the law and endangering the lives of people serving this country. This is a woman we’re proud to have represent women?

Count me out. If that’s the consensus of the sisterhood, then the sisterhood is worthy of derision and distrust because they clearly do not base their decisions on facts, evidence, character or competence.

Of course, I’m fully aware that for the liberal sisterhood, it’s all about “choice” and making sure it remains legal to butcher the child in the womb. Hillary is their queen, because she won’t stop until unrestricted abortion is taxpayer-funded, and every religious institution (that includes your hospitals, Catholics) is required to participate in the slaughter.

Hillary in the White House means Cecile Richards will have the ear of the president, and Planned Parenthood will enjoy a dramatic expansion of their “services” and increased profits from all their “good work” and additional government funding. Maybe then they can finally get back to bragging about how their highly-skilled abortionists get that sought-after, lucrative, intact calvarium.

Please also consider this carefully: It is inarguable that Hillary Clinton has demonstrated she is without honor. Her lies and her reckless actions while Secretary of State and since are on the record. It is a harbinger of some serious chaos and trouble to come, if indeed the voters elect someone who has already shown that she plays fast and loose with national security and people’s lives, and then snarls when you have the temerity to question her and huffs, “What difference does it make?”

Hillary Clinton has no right to command anyone to pick up trash in her yard, let alone command America’s fighting force as Commander in Chief. She has justly earned a cell in a federal penitentiary, not a desk in the Oval Office.

Every military officer with any level of security clearance knows perfectly well that if he’d done anything close to what Hillary Clinton did with classified information, he’d be discharged and court-martialed.

The lame, convoluted reasoning that she did not “intend” to violate security protocols, or to compromise secure information in any way, leads us to only two options: She’s either a criminal or she’s a functional idiot.

She didn’t “intend” to do any harm? She just didn’t know better? The Secretary of State just didn’t know her job, or how to handle the highly classified information she was dealing with every day? (And clearly, the recent FBI revelations seem to confirm this. She thought “C” on all those emails was just an alphabetical marking? Like “C” is for cookie?)

Oh, she did know how to do her job? Then she’s a criminal, who deliberately violated the rules that every other person in the nation with a security clearance has to follow. She’s “special” that way, right? She gets to break, even erase the rules (and the evidence) completely, and then look at us and whine, “I never broke the rules! It’s those vicious Republicans!”

I’ll say plainly that electing Hillary would be an insult to every honorable military person and their families. You might as well just flip us the bird.

If you think she’s fit to command the finest military in the world, then I suggest you enlist immediately and put your own honor and security under her “leadership.” Go ahead and take your orders from an incompetent crook.

No, America, if your choice for President is Her Dissembling Imperial Majesty Who Shall Not be Questioned, then you no longer deserve the freedoms that generations of men and women have given their lives to defend, and you have no right to ask for their sacrifice any longer. You would give the troops a dishonorable plutocrat for a General, while demanding they be without blemish or failing. You would publicly despise them for their actions in combat if your armchair view frames them as unjustified, but for Hillary you obediently fetch and carry.

Hillary Clinton doesn’t deserve a salute from anyone, and an electorate that would reward her duplicity and dishonor with the Presidency is as shameful as she, and will certainly reap the consequences.
