The Brew: Good News Continues to Stir in Washington, D.C.
Now that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has been confirmed to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which he was in a 52-48, mostly party-line vote in the U.S. Senate yesterday, it would pay for us as citizens to know what he thinks and why Kennedy’s war against Big Pharma led every Democrat to vote against his confirmation.
Raymond Arroyo conducted an hour-long, in-depth interview with Kennedy last year. It’s worth sitting down to watch it:
Here is our entire @RobertKennedyJr @WorldOverLive Exclusive. He candidly addresses border policy, abortion, gov protections for women, faith and much more. Let me know what you think.

Trump Reposts Plea from Independent Journalist Seeking Justice
On her Substack channel yesterday (later reprinted at Truth Social), intrepid journalist and election integrity activist Julie Kelly posted a letter from David W. Fischer, the attorney for one of the January 6 defendants who only got a commutation from President Donald Trump recently rather than a pardon. Fischer asked Trump to issue a full pardon in order to stop the ongoing judicial abuse of his client, Retired Navy Lt. Commander Thomas E. Caldwell, writing:
Tom is a 100% disabled veteran who was wounded by communist insurgents in the Philippines in 1974 while stationed at Subic Bay. The shrapnel that pierced Tom’s body eventually led to debilitating back and neck fusion surgeries and a plethora of other health issues. Now 70 years old, Tom lives in pain every single day of his life resulting from service to his country. This patriot’s treatment by a partisan DOJ over the last four years is an outrage that needs to be corrected. …
They subsequently walked up a public sidewalk towards the Capitol, climbed a flight of stairs, and eventually “escaped the crowd” by exiting on to a temporary balcony, where they stayed for 4 minutes before exiting the stage and the Capitol grounds. Multiple security videos proved that all “no trespassing” signs and barricades had been removed from the Caldwells’ path by protestors 20 minutes before they arrived at the Peace Monument. Notably, Congress had already evacuated Capitol Hill before they even stepped on Capitol grounds. Tom provably broke no laws, committed no acts of violence, and wasn’t even on Capitol grounds when Congress was ordered to evacuate the Capitol Building.
Despite the triviality of Caldwell’s supposed offense, the FBI launched a “Waco-style raid” on his home, on the false theory that Caldwell belonged to the “Oathkeepers” organization. He didn’t, but the Department of Justice filed “seditious conspiracy and related charges” against Caldwell, who served 53 days in jail before his sentencing. But Caldwell’s legal troubles aren’t over, Fischer notes:
Instead of enjoying a well-earned retirement, Tom was used as a pawn in a DOJ public relations strategy that pushed the myth that January 6 was an orchestrated “insurrection” to take over Capitol Hill. Like you, Tom was not only singled out for prosecution for political reasons, but he also is facing two civil suits filed by Soros-backed law firms. Thank you for your consideration. And thank you for doing your best to make America great again.
In what’s surely a hopeful sign, Trump shared Fischer’s letter on Truth Social yesterday.
Judge Who Lawlessly Blocked Trump’s Executive Orders Is a Race Fanatic
Gateway Pundit reports:
In a striking example of judicial activism, newly unearthed footage from 2021 exposes U.S. District Judge John McConnell for what he truly is—an Obama-appointed activist masquerading as a judge.
Judge McConnell, who recently blocked President Trump’s initiative to freeze federal spending and audaciously accused Trump of defying his court order, is exposed in a resurfaced video as he lambasts the Trump administration and pushes for identity-based sentencing and the creation of a race-obsessed committee within his court in his attempt to inject his progressive ideology into the legal system.
McConnell admits that he imposes harsher sentences on white male defendants than on members of various minorities, saying:
When you’re sentencing someone, you have to take a moment and realize that this middle-class, white, male, privileged person needs to understand the human being that comes before us. That may be a woman, may be Black, may be transgender, may be poor, may be rich, may be whatever—may have experiences that are not yours. And you have to walk in their shoes and understand that the law applies to them where they are. And then you have to apply the law accordingly.
Celebrate “Darwin Day” by Sharing the News That Darwinism Is Dying
The Discovery Institute’s podcast “ID the Future” notes:
On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, evolutionary biologist Bret Weinstein summed up modern Darwinism this way: “[In my opinion,] the mainstream Darwinists are telling a kind of lie about how much we know and what remains to be understood … they are pretending to know more than they do … I think modern Darwinism is broken.”
Add to that the recent comments from University College London origin of life researcher Joana Xavier, who praised Dr. Stephen Meyer’s arguments with these words: “I read Signature in the Cell by Stephen Meyer … And I must tell you, I found it one of the best books I’ve read, in terms of really putting the finger on the questions.” These examples are part of a growing chorus of mainstream scientists who are acknowledging the inadequacy of the selection/mutation evolutionary mechanism and looking for other ways to explain the origin of biological information.
The podcasters suggest you share with friends (especially students) the news that Darwinism is collapsing under the weight of all the promises it can’t keep — as laid out in this short video:
Along The Stream…
Later this morning, be sure to read Jason Jones’s exposé of the hypocrisy in academia when it comes to racial and religious discrimination, especially at elite institutions such as Rutgers University — which won’t stand up for the oppressed Dalits (“untouchables”) of India.
Meanwhile, contributor Michael Giere shows us the receipts that Elon Musk and his team are digging up on the waste, propaganda, and social engineering funded by our own government at our expense.
