The Brew: Who Knew Giving Birth Didn’t Make You a Mother or a Woman? (HINT: Nobody Until Now)

By Al Perrotta Published on April 14, 2023

Yay! It’s Friday!

And because April 15 is a Saturday, taxes aren’t due until Tuesday.

Just the Weekend Left to File Taxes

Got your taxes done?

Tell me. What’s more depressing? Seeing how much you fork over to a dysfunctional government or going through receipts and seeing how much money you spent in 2022 on doofy stuff?

You’re right. Paying for a dysfunctional government — especially this year. The Associated Press reports that thanks to inflation, the average refund this year will be down about $300 bucks, or nearly 10%, from 2021. The average refund is $2,910, down from $3,226, according to the most recent IRS data.

So what do you do with your tax refund?

  1. Save It
  2. Spend It
  3. Not invest in Bud Light, that’s for sure.

Bud Takes $5 Billion Hit Since Dylan Mulvaney Sponsorship

The value of Anheuser-Busch has tanked over $5 billion dollars since Bud Light’s partnership with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney came to light. Since March 31, their stock has fallen nearly 4% … and stocks of Bud Light have sat on liquor and grocery store shelves.

There is some finger-pointing going on. Sources tell The Daily Wire that “no one at the senior level” was aware of the Bud Light deal to partner with Mulvaney. According to the site, the beer giant is also “scrambling to implement a more ‘robust’ process for evaluating future influence partnerships.”

Here’s a good tip: Don’t partner with dudes who pretend they are girls too young to drink your product. Sounds like a good place to start.

Huh? Giving Birth Doesn’t Make You a Woman … Or Mother

A non-binary guest on Dr. Phil’s show claimed that giving birth doesn’t make one a woman … or even a mother. A bearded biological female dubbed “Danny” declared, “I’m a non-binary birther. I gave birth to my child 20 months ago at home. I did it as a non-binary person, not as a woman, just to be very clear.”

“Danny” added, “Just because I gave birth doesn’t make me a woman or a mother, and there needs to be space in the birthing world that allows me to show up as a birthing person.

Great. So when the baby’s first word is “Mama,” the kid’s going to be punished for misgendering.

Seriously … there’s a certain arrogance in declaring that all of humanity had it absolutely wrong for thousands and thousands of years.

Leakers Found?

The FBI has arrested a man believed to be responsible for leaking classified material about the war in Ukraine and beyond.

21-year-old Jack Teizeira belongs to the intelligence wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard and faces charges for what is being called “one of the biggest national security breaches in the last decade.” Teizeira is reported to be a member of the Thug Shaker Central chat group on the app Discord.

The documents leaked include casualty figures of Ukrainian and Russians different than what is being reported by the Pentagon. They also suggest the war is going a lot different than what is being reported by the American media and this administration.

It’s not confirmation that the numbers are legitimate. However, the Pentagon did confirm the claim that the U.S. has a small number of Special Forces in country. Tom Sileo has more in his Services and Sacrifices bulletin just up. Yeah, no biggie. Just U.S. troops on the ground in a hot war without Congressional authorization or the American people knowing about it.

The Daily Mail also reports that documents claiming 50 British Special Forces troops are operating inside Ukraine came from a 20-year-old university student living in U.K. The student, who goes by wow_mao online, said the documents being leaked on Discord are “hilarious.”

Glad you’re having fun, pal. It’s only life and death, and lies from our leaders we’re talking about.

The Administration is already using the leak as an excuse to expand its power to “monitor” chat rooms. The immediate move to grab more power … as oppose to addressing the embarrassing revelations, has the likes of Kash Patel smelling a rat.

Obama Admin Stenographer Comes Forward: Biden Trip to Ukraine in 2014 Directly Tied to Hunter’s Business Dealings

A stenographer from the Obama-Biden Administration has come forward to testify that Joe Biden went to Ukraine in April 2014, specifically to push Ukraine’s energy industry just days after Hunter Biden joined the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. How does Mike McCormick know? He was on the plane to Ukraine, recording and transcribing a briefing Biden advisor (and now National Security Advisor) Jake Sullivan gave reporters about Biden’s purposes. Officially, Biden was supposed to be there to fight corruption. But boosting Ukraine’s energy sector — to the great benefit of Burisma — was the real purpose. A “kickback” scheme, McCormick alleges.

A few months ago a “suspicious” memo Hunter had sent his partners on Ukraine emerged. It contained a depth of analysis far beyond Hunter’s knowledge, with verbiage that seemed to experts to be straight out of classified briefings. That was sent April 12, 2014. He joined Burisma on April 18. Joe flew to Ukraine on April 21. Knowing Sullivan was in on the Ukraine energy push strengthens the notion that Hunter’s memo was fed with information from the White House.

The involvement of Sullivan also strengthens our argument that the impeachment over Trump’s phone call to Zelensky was not about protecting Hunter, but protecting what Joe and the Obama Administration were up to in Ukraine.

What we do know for a fact is that Joe Biden flat out lied about his involvement in Biden, Inc. Further proof comes with White House visitor logs showing that Hunter Biden’s business partners visited the White House 80 times while Joe was VP.

They weren’t there for mint chocolate chip ice cream and a tour of the Rose Garden.

Senators Coming Off the DL: Sen. Mitch McConnell Returning to the Senate as Fellow GOP Senators Start Elbowing to Replace Him

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will be returning to the Senate Monday, his office announced Thursday. He’s been out for weeks after suffering a bad fall during a dinner in Washington. But will he be there long? Spectator reports several GOP senators have been jockeying for position to replace Mitch in the belief he will soon retire, if not from the Senate at least from the Minority Leader position. Senators John Barrasso of Wyoming, John Cornyn of Texas and John Thune of South Dakota are among those reaching out to their colleagues to start garnering support.

McConnell isn’t scheduled to leave office until 2027.

Meanwhile, California Senator Dianne Feinstein is rejecting calls from within her own party to resign. The 87-year-old who has shown clear signs of serious mental incapacity has been out of town for weeks after being hospitalized with shingles. Feinstein says she will return to Washington, but has asked Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to “temporarily” replace her on the Judiciary Committee.

As for John Fetterman, the world’s most reluctant senator confirmed he is returning to the Senate next week after his long hospitalization for severe depression. In fact, Wednesday night he tweeted his excitement at chairing his first subcommitte hearing on food stamps.

The Capitol has a Senate wing and a House wing. Might need to add a hospital wing. But it’s good to hear all three are on the mend.

The Long Reign of Error is Over! Washington Commanders Sold for a Record $6 Billion

If there is a greater pep in the step of the Nation’s Capital this morning, there’s good reason why. Football fans in the city are finally rid of Commanders owner Dan Snyder.

As our resident sports nut Tom Sileo noted Thursday on Twitter, Snyder inherited a Washington Redskins football team that had won three Super Bowls. However, since he took over the team in 1999, the Redskins — now called the Commanders — have not even reached an NFC Championship. Worse, the stellar franchise of the Joe Gibbs era became a dysfunctional circus of misdeed, incompetency and scandal.

That ends now. The Commanders announced Thursday that Synder is selling the team to a group of buyers led by Josh Harris and featuring NBA legend Magic Johnson. Sale price: A record $6 billion. That blows past the record sale of $4.5 billion recently set by the Denver Broncos.

The sale is pending approval by the NFL owners in May. Approval? They’re going to give Mills a parade.

And they say no good news ever comes out of Washington.
