The Brew: Trump’s Team Exposes More ‘Fruitless Deeds of Darkness’

By John Zmirak Published on April 11, 2025

This isn’t your father’s United States of America — unless your dad was a conspiracy theorist typing out apocalyptic novels single-spaced in a double-wide, who self-published the books and sold them at gun shows. If that was your dad, then right now he’s rocking back and forth smiling grimly and thinking, “I told you so.” Go make that man a sandwich.

Each day we get more evidence of the caustically cynical, bottomless corruption of our institutions — from the Obama and Biden administrations to our intelligence agencies, USAID, state election officials … and the tame, lame “conservatives” who simpered while those domestic enemies skinned our country and wore it as a suit. We absolutely must insist, as patriotic Americans and Christians who care about fairness, that such “deeds of darkness” (Ephesians 5:11) be exposed and justice be done. Any less, and we’re excusing — even encouraging! — the abuse of power, the persecution of citizens, and the enrichment of callous elitists. If need be, we must put pressure on President Donald Trump and his team to go further, press harder, and tack straight into the wind of institutional resistance.

I’ll just point to the tip of a dark, slimy iceberg of things that have surfaced just within the last couple of days. Who knows how far down it really goes?

The Fedsurrection on January 6, 2021

The first thing you need to remember is what the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol (which happened because the D.C. mayor and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused Trump’s request to deploy the National Guard) accomplished in practical terms: It shut down challenges by Republican senators from states where election fraud was alleged. The riot literally interrupted those proceedings and drove all discussion of the very real abuses in swing states on Election Night 2020 out of public discussion.

Instead, we were sprayed with rhetoric by Democrats and Republicans alike about “insurrectionists” and claims that even the peaceful protestors who took selfies in the Rotunda were comparable to the Japanese pilots who bombed Pearl Harbor. Then Donald Trump was subject to a second fabricated impeachment, and thousands of peaceful Americans were prosecuted like terrorists — even as the George Floyd rioters walked free. The FBI’s handling of January 6 was led by FBI Assistant Director Steven D’Antuono. As Revolver News revealed in 2022, D’Antuono

led the Whitmer Kidnapping entrapment hoax before being promoted to the coveted DC office where he went on to be the public face of the FBI’s notorious “pipe bomb investigation” as well as one of the key henchmen protecting the Fedsurrection narrative.

Was the January 6 disorder just a spontaneous outburst by overzealous citizens? A genuine coup attempt by Trump supporters? Or was it something else entirely … perhaps a false flag operation goaded by the feds to derail Trump’s challenge to election fraud? Joseph Kent, whom Trump just nominated to be director of the National Counterterrorism Center, has vocally suggested federal agents pushed people beyond the “peaceful, patriotic protest” Trump had called for. Watch his testimony before Congress delivered Wednesday:

Trump Launches Investigation of Cybersecurity Official Who Denied Election Fraud

Meanwhile, Gateway Pundit reported Wednesday that:

President Donald Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum that instructs the Department of Justice and “other aspects of [his] government” to investigate Chris Krebs and his acts as the former Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). At the signing, President Trump’s White House staff secretary Will Scharf stated: “This is a man who weaponized his position against free speech in the election context and the context of COVID-19. This is a similar Presidential Memorandum to the one you just signed. It addresses his access to government existent clearances he might have and further instructs your Department of Justice, other aspects of your government, to investigate some of the malign acts he participated in while he was still head of CISA.”

Before signing the memorandum, President Trump rehashed the consequences of the stolen 2020 election, including the deaths from the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, the Russia-Ukraine war, and October 7th.

President Trump called it “a very corrupt election” and said “they used COVID to cheat.” He called Krebs a “wise-guy” and referenced his absurd statement almost immediately following the 2020 Election, calling it the “most secure in U.S. history.”

Credit for this overdue decision partly goes to fearless reporter Emerald Robinson, who has been dogging Krebs’s footsteps since 2020:

Facebook Serves the Chinese Communist Party

Facebook is more than just a place for your grandmother to post cloying videos of kittens. Now it’s Meta, a multimedia platform Mark Zuckerberg hopes can replace ordinary life altogether so you never need to get out of your gaming chair. Part of producing such a dystopia entails building up artificial intelligence (AI), of course.

A whistleblower just testified before the U.S. Senate that Meta worked closely with Communist China to help that hostile nation outpace the United States in developing AI, MSN reports:

Meta actively helped China in the race to develop artificial intelligence as part of its failed effort to cozy up to Beijing, a former executive-turned-whistleblower said during a bombshell Senate hearing on Wednesday.

Sarah Wynn-Williams, who detailed her experience at Meta in the scathing memoir Careless People, testified that she witnessed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and other executives lie to Congress and “repeatedly undermine US national security and betray American values.” …

Meta began providing briefings to the Chinese Communist Party “as early as 2015” while pursuing “Project Aldrin” – a top-secret effort to gain access to China’s lucrative market.

“These briefings focused on critical emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence – explicit goal being to help China outcompete American companies,” said Wynn-Williams, who worked at the social media giant from 2011 to 2017.

“There’s a straight line you can draw from these briefings to the recent revelations that China is developing AI models for military use, relying on Meta’s Llama model,” she added.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) weighed in yesterday on what his committee is discovering:

Maybe the social media platform should change its name from Facebook to LittleRedBook.

They Blamed It on Bat Soup and Canceled You for Dissenting

Remember the COVID panic, when globalists shut down the planet with far less fuss and fear than Donald Trump’s recent round of tariffs provoked? All the levers of government pressure and social media monopoly were pulled to suppress the theory that it was a weaponized virus somehow released from the weaponized virus research lab in Wuhan, China, where it first appeared. It took Jon Stewart (no MAGA or MAHA zealot) to sum up the forbidden theory best:

Now we’re way past relying on mere common sense for these thoughts, since evidence is emerging (because Joe Biden is no longer in office to keep on covering it up). The Free Beacon reports:

Seven Americans may have contracted COVID-19 in Wuhan in October 2019, several months before the reported start of the pandemic, according to a bombshell military report obtained by the Washington Free Beacon that the Biden administration concealed from the public.

The December 2022 report, which the Biden administration was required by law to release to the public over two years ago but didn’t, reveals for the first time that seven U.S. military service members contracted COVID-19-like symptoms during or after their participation in the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019 — contradicting the Biden administration’s public claims in 2021 that there was no evidence that any American participants contracted the virus at those games. The revelation adds to a mounting body of evidence that the virus was circulating in Wuhan for months before China disclosed it to the world in December 2019 and further bolsters the growing consensus that it could have leaked into the human population from a Chinese lab.

But next time you really can trust the authorities and the nice people from the government, and just take whatever DNA concoctions they tell you to stick into your arm. They promise not to lie to you, sequester you, or censor you again.

Good Thing the NIH Was Led by a “Genius Evangelical” Like Francis Collins

Sure, Collins must have approved this vaccination initiative, which was implemented on his watch as director of the National Institutes of Health. But imagine how much worse it would have been if there hadn’t been a Regime Christian in place to witness to Gospel Values™:

But enough about what happened years ago that is now being confirmed as truth and not rumor. Here are some actual feel-good stories about what’s being done to right the ship.

Trump Cites Recent Supreme Court Rulings to Protect Religious Liberty

First Liberty Institute, which litigates in defense of our First Amendment right to free exercise of religion, called our attention to two very welcome executive orders issued by the Trump administration this week citing Supreme Court rulings. Courtesy of the White House website:

Today, President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum requiring agencies to rescind regulations that are unlawful under 10 recent landmark Supreme Court decisions.

The two most important for religious freedom are these:

Carson v. Makin, 596 U.S. 767 (2022) held that a law excluding religious schools from participating in Maine’s school-voucher program violated the Free Exercise Clause. Agencies accordingly must review their regulations to ensure equal treatment of religious institutions vis-à-vis secular institutions for purposes of funding and access to public benefits.

Roman Cath. Diocese of Brooklyn v. Cuomo, 592 U.S. 14 (2020) struck down New York’s COVID-era occupancy restrictions on churches and synagogues because they were uniquely harsher than those that applied to “essential” businesses — such as acupuncture facilities. Each agency should review its regulations to ensure at least equal treatment of religious institutions vis-à-vis secular institutions for regulatory purposes.

Sometimes even lower court judges rule correctly, as First Liberty reports:

Late yesterday, United States District Court Judge John W. Holcomb ordered the city of Santa Ana, California to stop its discriminatory actions that for two years prevented Anchor Stone church from using its facilities for religious services. First Liberty Institute and the law firm O’Melveny & Myers represents Anchor Stone. The U.S. Department of Justice joined attorneys for the plaintiff at a recent hearing after filing a statement of interest in support of the motion.

It’s refreshing to see our judicial branch respect the plain meaning of our Constitution, and the executive branch take direct action to protect our God-given rights. More, faster, please!
