Pope Leo Shills for Open Borders
Of course a program as self-evidently suicidal as universal celibacy, radical pacifism, or open borders requires some moral support. As a Leftist Chicago politician, Pope Leo XIV has weighed in again:
“With the abuse of vulnerable migrants, we are witnessing, not the legitimate exercise of national sovereignty, but rather grave crimes committed or tolerated by the state,” he said, according to a speech published by the Vatican.
“Ever more inhuman measures are being adopted – even celebrated politically – that treat these ‘undesirables’ as if they were garbage and not human beings.”
Drawing on a theme close to the heart of his predecessor, Pope Francis, Leo also defended rescues at sea, speaking the day after 40 migrants were found dead following a shipwreck off Tunisia.
“When cooperatives and projects are formed to feed the hungry, give shelter to the homeless, rescue the shipwrecked, provide daycare, create jobs, access land and build houses, remember that we are not serving an ideology but truly living the Gospel,” he said.
The pope, the ostensible leader of Western Christendom, is wielding such victimist language as natives in Britain, Ireland, France, and other traditionally Christian countries are persecuted by their governments for complaining about Islamic colonization of their territory, at taxpayer expense.
As I’ve written here many times: If Christianity really were a civilizational suicide cult, I would persecute it myself. It isn’t, of course. That’s just what Screwtape wants us to think, so he can goad us into paganism. His servants are doing their best to further that message.

While Democrats and their captive clergymen grandstand about human traffickers whom President Donald Trump has tried to send back home to face justice, remember the number that the Left — secular and religious — wants you to forget: 450,000. That’s the count so far of migrant children whom the Biden regime lost in the system in just the year of 2024, sending thousands to slave labor factories and sex traffickers. No one on the Left ever complained.

That’s precisely what online personality Candace Owens (among many others) has been engaged in, in the weeks since Kirk’s public murder. Trangenderism Is Child Abuse
The real war we face is the spiritual one, and anything that distracts you from that is propaganda from the Enemy. He is especially keen to squelch the abundant evidence that his attack on God-given human sexuality causes nothing but harm and horror. So it’s our job to point you squarely towards such proof. The Connecticut Centennial reports:
Child psychiatrist Mark McDonald, M.D. warned that the rise of transgenderism among children and adolescents has led to “a medical cultural emergency” fostered by a medical system designed “against the health and safety and well-being of these young people.”
Casting the political issues aside, McDonald focused on three points: the “false” narrative from trans activists that “somehow medical intervention … is the solution to the problem;” the causes or origins of gender dysphoria in order to better understand why this crisis happened in the first place; and whether young people with gender dysphoria can obtain “real treatment.”
The author of the COVID-era United States of Fear and subsequent Freedom from Fear, McDonald began by confronting the transgender industry claim heard by many parents: that failure to affirm their child’s “new” gender identity by refusing medical treatment will lead to a greater likelihood of their child committing suicide.
“Yes, yes, absolutely, it’s true,” he asserted. “People who call themselves transgendered do have exceptionally high suicide rates. The reason for this is not surprising. They’re mentally ill, and people who are mentally ill, specifically with depression or anxiety, do have higher rates of self-harm, higher rates of suicide and also higher rates of medical problems, which is also true with schizophrenics and bipolar disordered patients.”
Transgender activists have made the false claim that gender dysphoric young people are more likely to commit suicide if their parents refuse to accept their child’s chosen “new” gender and reject treatment with puberty blockers, hormone drugs, and, potentially, mutilating surgeries.
McDonald stated clearly, however, that “so-called treatments” for the young adolescent with this mental health problem should not include “cutting off their breasts or penis, flipping their vagina into a phallus, or injecting them with castrating and infertilizing hormones.”
“That is not treatment. That is medical malpractice, that is mutilation, that is child abuse,” he warned.
McDonald cited retrospective data from northern European studies that, according to the psychiatrist, “answer the question very clearly: is it in the best interest of these transgendered people to have surgical interventions and hormonal interventions?”
The answer, he said, is an “emphatic” no.
He observed one Swedish study of 350 post-surgical, self-identified, transgendered adults. Researchers found that 10 to 15 years after the surgeries, suicide rates were 20 times higher than in the general population.
It’s hard to process such data, which show how corrupted our institutions have been, and how fundamentally we must fight to bring them back to sanity, never mind sanctity.
