Sometimes reality is at once so horrifying and so … on the nose and heavy-handed, that you wonder if God is winking at us. Yesterday saw a sickening terror attack in Britain that sums up what’s wrecking that country in a manner that beggars comment.
Yesterday, on the high Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, a Syrian Muslim colonist — sorry, “British citizen of Syrian descent” — contributed to British society in the way that only Muslims can. He committed a jihad attack. The target was a synagogue thronged with worshipers, who tragically thought they lived in a land with religious freedom for all. The BBC reports:
Two men from the Jewish community have died and three other people remain in hospital with serious injuries, police say, after a car and knife attack in Manchester.
The attack came on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar.
The attacker was killed by firearms officers, and three other people are being held in custody.
Manchester police say they believe the synagogue attacker is 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent.
Jihad was wearing an explosive device, which didn’t go off — which is also completely on brand, when you think of Arab military skills.
Expect a TV broadcast from the British government warning against the imminent threat of Islamophobia.
Pray for the victims, and for a nation that willingly inflicted such “Diversity” on itself. We’re not far behind, as Muslim colonists plan “jihad cities” in places like Texas.
Spanish Priest Faces Prison for Criticizing Islam
In case you’re still not convinced that European Left-wing governments are acting to colonize their countries with Muslims who vote their way, read about the latest attack on free speech in once-Catholic Spain — which suffered centuries of Muslim occupation and subjugation. The European Conservativereports:
A priest in Spain is on trial in Málaga, facing up to three years behind bars for alleged hate speech after publishing an article critical of Islam. Fr. Custodio Ballester, known for his pro-life stance and doctrinal conservatism, is accused of inciting hatred in a 2016 text titled The Impossible Dialogue with Islam and in later media remarks.
The case—launched after a complaint by the group Muslims Against Islamophobia—has ignited fierce debate over free speech and claims that Spain’s hate-crime laws are applied selectively.
Fr. Ballester responded to a pastoral letter from Cardinal Omella in 2016 that called for interreligious dialogue. The priest questioned the viability of such dialogue, pointing out that in countries where Islam is the dominant religion, Christians suffer systematic persecution. “What dialogue are we talking about when there are countries where those who do not profess Islam are murdered?” he asked.
Eight years later, Fr. Ballester now finds himself in the dock. He says his trial is meant to set an example and scare others into staying silent: “They want to use me as an example so that others censor themselves.”
Pro-Hamas Flotilla of Insufferables Boarded by Jews with Guns
The Israeli navy intercepted around 40 vessels that were part of the Global Sumud Flotilla between October 1 and 2. It took most of the night and into the early hours of the morning to stop the vessels from continuing their approach to Gaza. The interception of the flotilla began at around 90 nautical miles and continued over a distance of more than 20 nautical miles.
The flotilla activists began their journey more than a month ago, on September 1, from Barcelona. At the time, there were around 20 vessels.
The group was joined by 20 more sailboats from Italy in mid-September and several more from Greece in the third week of September. The flotilla claimed it suffered attacks along the way, including two drone attacks while anchored off Tunisia between September 7 and 13, as well as another incident on September 23 off southern Crete. Due to these incidents, the Italian and Spanish governments sent navy ships to possibly aid the flotilla.
