The Brew: Million-Plus March in Britain for Freedom and to Honor Charlie Kirk

By John Zmirak Published on September 15, 2025

A crowd organizers estimated at over a million Britons converged on London Saturday in a march for free speech, national unity, and an end to the Muslim colonization of their nation by authoritarian leftists who rely on imported immigrant votes to cling to power.

The leader of the rally was populist Tommy Robinson, who has been falsely labeled as “far right,” “racist,” and even “Nazi” by out-of-touch British elites, and repeatedly imprisoned on invented or inflated charges. In fact, Robinson and his movement are color-blind, pro-Israel, and simply patriotic — though he openly criticizes both Islam and mass immigration.

Despite their deep grievances and the daily imprisonment of dozens of native Britons every day for criticizing their government’s policy of importing Third World, largely Muslim immigrants, marchers remained peaceful, and the event went largely without incident. Gateway Pundit reports:

Elon Musk joined the rally via livestream, wearing a T-shirt that read “What would George Orwell think?”, speaking at length with Tommy Robinson (whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon).

“I think there’s something beautiful about being British,” Musk said, complaining about a “slow erosion” of the UK and a “failure by the government to project children from being gang raped.”

“The people need to be in charge, not some bureaucracy that doesn’t care … This is a government against the people and not for the people. This is unacceptable. The government needs to protect the people,” Musk said.

Musk mourned “our friend Charlie Kirk”, who had been “murdered in cold blood” this week. “The Left is the party of murder, and celebrating murder!” Musk said.

“Violence is coming to you,” Musk warned. “You either fight back or die.”

Hundreds of marchers carried pictures of the murdered American Christian activist Charlie Kirk, whose killing many said illustrated the violent intolerance of the secular Left across the West.

US country singer Don Keith performed the “Star-Spangled Banner.” Then Tommy Robinson led the crowd in a minute of silence for slain patriot hero Charlie Kirk, followed by a bagpipe rendition of “Amazing Grace.” The crowd repeatedly erupted in chants of “Charlie! Charlie!”

A troop of Maori warriors from New Zealand who recently went viral protesting radical Islam performed a Haka dance “for freedom and liberty” in honor of Kirk.

One image from the march captured the event for future ages:

The Blood of the Martyrs Is the Seed of the Church

The Center for Baptist Leadership is publishing a series of reflections on Kirk’s life and death. The latest is by Samford University theologian Mark DeWine. In “Charlie Kirk: Christian Martyr,” he writes:

Christians and churches are now in the crosshairs of myriad enemies, cultural, political, and institutional, including on our college campuses, where Charlie took his two-pronged message, both components of which he knew would trigger Democrats — unabashed patriotism and overt, vocal, and unashamed Christian faith.

Kirk did this as the Democrats, the mainstream media, blue city operatives, and colleges and universities themselves repeatedly likened candidate and President Trump to Adolf Hitler and his supporters to Nazis. Kirk did this in a secularized world where, as Tom Holland insists, Hitler now takes the place of Satan….

Charlie Kirk repeatedly shared his Christian faith with college students and insisted that his leadership of Turning Point USA was a manifestation of his Christian calling. He received constant death threats and understood all too well that his life was in danger.

Like [Dietrich] Bonhoeffer, Kirk did what he did in obedience to Jesus Christ, knowing it might cost him his life. And now it has.

If Bonhoeffer belongs to the ranks of the martyrs, does not Kirk as well? Yes. Yes, he does.

Did you catch the fiery, inspirational speech of Kirk’s widow, Erika, less than 48 hours after his brutal public slaying? Here’s the whole thing in case you missed it:

She’s not finished, and neither is Charlie’s movement for faith, freedom, and country. According to Turning Point USA, some 18,000 Americans have contacted it seeking to start new chapters.

Straining Out the Haters

Just as holy water and blessed salt sometimes cause the spirits possessing people to manifest, Kirk’s slaughter has brought out the darkness in thousands of Americans on the Left — and given the rest of us a chance to recognize and rebuke it. Thousands of teachers, government workers, military personnel, and other ghouls have gone public to celebrate the televised murder of a nonviolent political organizer, husband, and father. The most prominent came from a former Olympian, transgender cyclist Chelsea Wolfe. Fox News reports:

Wolfe’s social media statements, made via Instagram story, included a reshare of news of Kirk’s assassination with an animated caption that read “We did it!” and a selfie with a caption that suggested Kirk was a “Nazi.”

A website called Charliesmurderers.com has been set up for decent Americans to report all such endorsements of political murder, giving employers, sports organizations, and government agencies the chance to purge their ranks of people who think that cold-blooded killing over political disagreements is acceptable.

In the most lurid such incident, a bloodthirsty grammar school teacher tried to justify the murder to her fifth- and sixth-grade students, forcing them to watch the killing over and over, as Gateway Pundit reports:

A public school teacher in Toronto, Canada, forced elementary school students to watch the graphic Charlie Kirk assassination video over and over again while telling the children that Kirk, a peaceful husband and father, deserved to be murdered…. The students at Corvette Junior Public School were traumatized as the teacher forced them to repeatedly watch Charlie Kirk get shot in the neck while he lectured the students on anti-fascism and anti-trans.

The teacher was reportedly suspended.

There are thousands of similar incidents and posts, with people praising political murder using their real names and faces. That’s how blatant, brazen, and menacing the Left has become. The mask has slipped, and we’re staring evil in the face.

Los Angeles Mayor Defies Gesture of Respect for Fallen Citizen

Far-left Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is defying President Donald Trump’s request that flags at government buildings fly at half-staff to mourn Kirk’s murder. The X account Data Republican offers some crucial background information on Bass and her Deep State connections, plus her links to Marxist militias.

Kirk’s Martyrdom Drives Some to Open Their Dusty Bibles

C.S. Lewis once quipped that Satan’s darkest trick was to convince us he doesn’t exist. That’s not working anymore. The unmitigated evil that’s now on public display is moving some souls to look for God, as The Vigilant Fox reported:

In his life, Charlie preached the timeless truths of loving your neighbor, showing respect even to your enemies, and placing Jesus Christ and faith in God at the very center of our existence.

That lesson is now spreading to people who have never had a strong relationship with God.

A young woman recently went viral on TikTok when she revealed that she picked up a Bible for the first time in her life after witnessing the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk and the shameful reaction to his death.

“Watching [Charlie] get shot in the neck and everybody being so desensitized and just going on with life like it was normal — something was calling me to my husband’s Bible,” she confessed.

When she opened the Bible, the first verse she stumbled upon was John 8:32, which reads: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

That verse “changed” her.

“I feel like Charlie Kirk’s death woke me up spiritually, and now, I can’t unsee the truth,” she said.

Along The Stream…

You saw all those cross-emblazoned British flags on display in London in this post. Did you know the Christian history of resistance to conquering Islam contained in that flag? Later this morning, Raymond Ibrahim recounts that story.

Stream founder James Robison admired Charlie Kirk. Watch his nine-minute video remembering the man and reminding us what he meant to this nation.
