The Brew: Jewish Children Kicked Off Spanish Plane. Settlers Attack Christian Town on West Bank

In Spain, post-Christian liberals twist themselves into knots to apologize for expelling Islamic invaders, for defeating a Communist government that was murdering priests and nuns, and for sending out the explorers who conquered the New World. The Left in Spain (as elsewhere) is intent on importing millions of “refugees” to replace the local population, tearing down historic monuments, and aborting the next generation.

But there’s one aspect of old-timey Spanish culture that’s apparently worth reviving: antisemitism, thinly veiled as concern for Arabs who’ve been ill-used by Israel. The Telegraph (U.K.) reports:

A group of Jewish children returning to France from summer camp in Spain were escorted off a flight to Paris after at least one child sang a Hebrew song.

Spanish airline Vueling allegedly removed the director of a Jewish summer camp and approximately 50 children forcibly from the flight, according to footage shared on social media on Wednesday.

The airline said the group had “compromised passenger safety.”

Amichai Chikli, Israel’s diaspora affairs and combating anti-Semitism minister, said the children, aged between 10 and 15, were singing songs in Hebrew on the plane.

Here’s an eyewitness account from one of the children. There’s no cell phone video footage because airline employees seized the children’s phones before assaulting the camp director:

The pilot who ordered the removal of 47 French Jewish children from a plane before take-off gave flying lessons to two of the September 11 terrorists, it has emerged.

Now, I wouldn’t find a bunch of musical Jewish kids a “compromise” to “safety,” even if they were singing horrible songs by Billy Joel. You know what might be unsettling? An incident like this one, which took place on an Easyjet flight to Scotland during President Donald Trump’s recent visit there:

Jihadists Slaughter Christians in Congo, Nigeria

Ex-Muslim journalist Dan Burmawi writes about the underreported persecution of Christians by Muslims in central Africa:

Across Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), a relentless campaign of terror waged by Islamic jihadist groups, Boko Haram, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), the Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP), and radicalized Fulani militias, has claimed tens of thousands of Christian lives, displaced millions, and obliterated entire communities. This violence, rooted in a Salafi-jihadist ideology that draws directly from the Quran and the example of Muhammad, represents a systematic effort to eradicate Christianity in these regions….

Overall, approximately five million Christians have been forced from their homes, crowding into overwhelmed IDP camps in Nigeria and refugee camps in Cameroon and Chad. As of 2024, the UNHCR reported 3.7 million internally displaced persons in Nigeria, with Christians forming the majority in conflict zones. Since 2009, jihadist groups have burned an estimated 18,000 churches and 2,200 Christian schools, systematically erasing Christian life and culture across northern and central Nigeria.

Far-Right Israeli Settlers Continue Attacks on Arab Christians

Fear not, gentle reader. Jews are not everywhere the victims of religious bigotry. Sometimes they’re the perpetrators. A far-Right faction of land-grabbing, ultranationalist “settlers” wishes to ethnically cleanse Israel and drive out local Christians who are the descendants of the first Jews to embrace the Messiah. Read this unsettling report from Orthodox Christians who live in the West Bank:

To his credit, Ambassador Mike Huckabee has spoken up about such attacks.

The problem for Israel: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a fragile grasp on power, and he relies on support from far-Right elements whose escalating demands are not in the country’s long-term best interests. Friends of Israel should pray that he reins them in before any more goodwill gets squandered.

British Government Keeps Importing Muslim “Refugees,” Readies for Crackdown on Native Resistance

Gateway Pundit reports:

Under Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Britain accelerates its descent into a thought-policing state that cares more for ‘asylum seekers’ (a.k.a. illegal invaders) than it does for its own citizens — taxpayers.

As the fed-up British start to push back against the criminal elements among the migrants, we learn that the deranged leftist government is raising an ‘elite team of police officers’ to monitor social media for ‘anti-migrant sentiment’, as Starmer and his unpopular team brace themselves in fear of the people.

With King Charles III spouting Muslim prayers in Arabic on television, it’s becoming ever clearer that the British government is openly at war with its own people — and escalating its effort to silence them as it replaces them. Does that sound like the policy of a political party you recognize over here in America?

New York State Mulls British-Style Thought Police

The Standing for Freedom Center warns that the government of one of our largest states, New York, is adopting British-style censorship policies that shouldn’t withstand constitutional challenge:

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, D, announced on Monday that the state will ramp up surveillance efforts of social media accounts and that law enforcement will take proactive measures, including contacting people on suspicion of using “hate speech.”

Hochul cited the rise in antisemitic activity in New York and especially New York City, where the world’s largest population of Jews outside of Israel resides.

Just as in Europe, antisemitism is cited as the problem, but the focus quickly shifts to the group elites really want to favor: “Hochul also mentioned alleged ‘Islamophobic’ incidents, which she claimed were increasing and going underreported.” Hochul continued:

[W]e’re very focused on the data we’re collecting from surveillance efforts — what’s being said on social media platforms. And we have launched an effort to be able to counter some of the negativity. and reach out to people when we see hate speech being spoken about on online platforms. Our media analysis, our social media analysis unit, has ramped up its monitoring of sites to catch incitement to violence; direct threats to others, and all this is in response to our desire, our strong commitment, to ensure that not only do New Yorkers be safe, but they also feel safe because personal security is about everything for them. If anyone thinks that they can get away with spreading hate and harming other New Yorkers and violating the law, you will be caught.

Remember that in Canada, people have been prosecuted for “hate speech” for reading aloud passages from the Book of Leviticus that offend LGBTQ activists.

Building the Tower of Babel … on Sand

Post-Christians want a peaceful, tolerant, rules-based society — but they want it for free, without paying the price that our ancestors did to build up ordered liberty: embrace self-restraint, respect the Natural Law, and view the human person as the image and likeness of God.

So instead of building on that solid foundation, leftists scramble to punish and silence people they identify as threats — people like Australian doctor Jereth Kok. 

This is what governors like Kathy Hochul mean by combatting “hate speech.” And it’s occurring already in America, via “debanking.” Just look at what happened to political commentator Michael Knowles.

The largest payment processing company in America, Stripe, cut Knowles off months ago. After frustrating efforts to resolve this with the company, he decided to go public at Not The Bee — publishing his back-and-forth exchanges with squirrelly Stripe employees who kept evading and deflecting, until they finally said something shocking: They claimed that Knowles was debanked because a court order had forced them to do so shortly before the 2024 election.
