Gov. Ron DeSantis Reportedly Entering Race Wednesday … Already Getting the Treatment

Don’t need to look to the DeSantis camp for confirmation he’s announcing he’s running this week. Just look at what has been thrown at him in recent days. A grotesque cover/hit piece in Time magazine, a hit piece by Politico on his wife Casey (his wife?!?!) and now the NAACP. (An organization that now seems to stand more for the National Association for the Advancement of Creeps and Progressives.)

The NAACP sent out a “travel advisory” over the weekend warning that Florida is “openly hostile toward African-Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals.”

That must explain why people of color climb aboard flimsy, leaky crafts, and navigate through shark-infested waters, just to get to Florida.

The NAACP’s president Derrick Johnson is even saying Democrats must get “rid” of DeSantis “once and for all.” (Yo, Liz Cheney. Explain how that is not an incitement to violence against an elected official.) “Your life,” Johnson said, “is not valued.” (Just how many black children will be saved by Florida’s new pro-life law? But I digress.)

So what gives? I mean, a “travel advisory?” About Florida? When the blood of African-Americans is flooding urban cities coast to coast? Politics. The NAACP has seen the polling. The Democrats are hemorrhaging black voters. Rapper and actor Ice Cube recently blasted the black community’s loyalty to Democrats, telling the Full Send Podcast, “I mean, black people have supported Democrats overwhelmingly for fifty, sixty years. And nothing has changed. Something’s gotta change.”

With blacks souring on Democrats, with a Democratic president with a dreadful record on race … according to his own vice president, what else does the partisan NAACP have left but to demonize a leading GOP contender?

The Time magazine cover makes DeSantis out to be a Mafia Don.

The NAACP wants to make him out to be George Wallace.

Who will next paint him with Hitler’s mustache? And to think DeSantis hasn’t even formally announced.

Sen. Tim Scott Announces He’s Running for President

But Sen. Tim Scott has. The gentleman from South Carolina announced Monday he’s in the race.

“Joe Biden and the radical left are attacking every rung of the ladder that helped me climb. And that is why I am announcing today that I am running for President of the United States of America!”

Not surprisingly, Scott wants to offer a positive message of hope.

I have lived the American dream. I have held the truth, the inalienable truth, that all men and women are created equal! And endowed by our Creator with the right to be free! Our party and our nation are standing at a time for choosing. Victimhood or victory? Grievance or greatness? I choose freedom and hope and opportunity.

Preach it! Sen. Scott joins fellow South Carolinian Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Larry Elder in the race for the GOP nomination. Mike Pence is also thought to be considering a run.

Currently, polls show former President Trump with a huge advantage over all comers.

FBI Kept Clinton Foundation Investigation Technically Open Through Trump’s Term. Then Closed It and Destroyed the Evidence

And now a correction of sorts. Yesterday we mentioned how the Durham Report laid out how FBI honchos blocked at least four investigations into the Clintons, including three into the Clinton Foundation.

Today we get a doozy of an update. According to emails uncovered by the New York Times under a FOIA request, the FBI technically kept the investigation into the Clinton Foundation open throughout Donald Trump’s term. In August of 2021, once Biden was in office, the case was formally closed. And here’s the kicker, according to the Times: The FBI stated, “All of the evidence obtained during the course of this investigation has been returned or otherwise destroyed.”

Seriously? State Dept. Offering Free Therapy for Triggered Misgendered Employees

What’s the State Department for? According to their website, “The Department is responsible for promoting peace and stability in areas of vital interest to America.” They also represent the United States overseas. Does this next bit sound stable to you? Or represent America well?

The IT department at State was testing a feature that would allow staffers to add their personal pronouns to their “Global Address Profile.” Your tax dollars hard at work.

Unfortunately, the feature accidentally went live during testing, dumping random pronouns into the “From” field. Stuff happens. It’s IT, after all.

And — hold your hat — a number of staffers were “misgendered.”

Forget having your embassy blown up under you, or taken over by Islamist revolutionaries, or being dragged through the streets of Benghazi. This was serious!

“A lot of people were triggered here today,” the Washington Free Beacon quotes one State Dept. staffer. So triggered in fact, so traumatized, the State Department is offering free therapy to those employees who are “hurt or upset” by the computer snafu.

Said the State Dept.’s chief information officer Kelly E. Fletcher, “I deeply regret the confusion and distress this mistake caused our workforce.”

Boys at Oregon High School Apparently Don’t Like Tampon Dispensers in the Boys Room

Seems the boys at an Oregon high school aren’t happy the school put tampon dispensers in their bathrooms. Seems the dispensers keep ending up in the toilet.

Daily Caller got hold of an email Lakeridge High School sent around asking boys to stop vandalizing the machines. Several times in the past couple weeks, a tampon dispenser in the boy’s room ended up in a commode.

“This isn’t about vandalizing school property — we all know that is bad.” Caroline Moore, VP of Parents Defending Education, told DCNF. “The boys are signaling they are not girls and they want to be left alone. It is appalling that any school district is furthering the bizarre agenda from the left where they neglect science and believe men require tampons. Aren’t the teachers supposed to be teaching them elementary facts, like I don’t know, anatomy?”
