The Brew: Even Harris Supporters Like What They’re Seeing After the Election
Happy Monday!
We’re putting today’s Brew in a to-go cup for all those hitting the road for Thanksgiving week.
55% “Happy” with Trump’s Reelection
According to a CBS News/YouGov survey, 55% of Americans are “Happy/Satisified” with the election results, with 44% “Angry/dissatisfied.” That is an 11% difference. The election just three weeks ago had Trump at 50% of the vote vs Kamala Harris getting 48.4% of the vote. So where did the discrepancy come from? Did that much cheating actually happen, meaning Trump really had about a 10% advantage in support? Did a chunk of Kamala Harris voters find themselves surprisingly relieved afterward that she lost? Or are people just liking what they’re seeing from Trump since the election?
The latter may be the case, because the same survey shows 59% approve of how Trump is handling the transition. (By the way, isn’t it nice to be talking about “transition” again without it involving transgender surgeries?)
Meanwhile, one of those who is “happy” after the election, according to the Babylon Bee, is this guy:

Trump Finalizes His Cabinet
President-Elect Donald Trump has finished filling out his cabinet in record time. He’s closed it out with America First Institute honcho and Texas native Brooke Rollins being named Secretary of Agriculture. (We bet she’s not going to waste her time blaming bovine gas for climate change.)
With his last round of picks, Trump demonstrated he makes for a horrible misogynist, with 10 women placed in top positions — including U.S. Attorney General.
Matt Gaetz’s announcement that he was withdrawing his nomination had barely hit the internet before Trump announced longtime ally Pam Bondi as his next pick for AG. Bondi has served as Florida’s attorney general for eight years. She’s got all the fight of Gaetz, but with administrative experience, plus the added bonus of not being chased around by ghosts of past romantic dalliances.
Is Trump draining Florida to drain the Swamp? Bondi is yet another pick from the Sunshine State. (Rumors are he’s considering an alligator for head of the National Park Service. Hmmm… actually, I can think of a Gator for whom Trump could find a spot: Tim Tebow. Tebow has been working to stop child sex trafficking for years. Seems he’d be a good pick to help track down those 300,000 missing migrant children. But I digress.)
As for Gaetz, he’s not returning to Congress. Might he make a run for Florida governor? Being named a special prosecutor? What about FBI director via a recess appointment — if only because with that hair and forehead, he looks like an FBI agent from the movies.
Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey Finally Concedes …
… his 1986 race for school hall monitor to Kiki Carmino.
Actually, he finally conceded his race Pennsylvania’s Senate seat to challenger Dave McCormick. The Democrats just couldn’t find enough ballots to steal it before the State Supreme Court put an end to the blatant cheating they were doing in full public view.
Elementary School Pushes Gender Ideology on Kindergarteners
Kudos to Libs of TikTok for spotlighting this one. Hillside Elementary School in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The place should be called School Administrators on Drugs, because they have informed parents they are introducing a “gender identity” curriculum for kindergarteners.
They will show pictures of other children to the kids, and then, “Using their observations, we will then take the opportunity to introduce vocabulary to describe characters of different identities (cisgender, transgender, and nonbinary) in a developmentally appropriate way.” Libs of TikTok is right. There’s a word for this: It’s called “grooming.”

Texas Approves Curriculum Allowing Bible-based Teachings in Public Grade Schools
The Texas Board of Education voted Friday to allow a Bible-based curriculum in elementary schools. The curriculum won’t be mandatory, but the schools that use it will get more funding. Gov. Greg Abbott commended the move, saying it’s “a critical step forward to bring students back to the basics of education and provide the best education in the nation.”
Naturally, liberals are going to go to court to fight the new curriculum.
Planned Parenthood Caught Selling Organs of Babies Aborted at 23 Weeks
When the history of heroic journalists of the twenty-first century is written, may the name David Daleiden be near the top of the list. Daleiden heads the Center for Medical Progress, and has gone deep undercover at tremendous personal cost to expose Planned Parenthood’s aborted baby organ selling operations. For nearly a decade now, Kamala Harris and the State of California have been desperate to put Daleiden in prison for what he’s revealed.
Daleiden’s latest discovery? Documents showing Planned Parenthood supplied the University of California, San Diego with children’s — including viable babies who were aborted at 23 weeks gestation. The fetal material would be used in research, with the agreements suggesting Planned Parenthood would potentially be granted intellectual property rights. This could violate the law against selling human tissue for profit.
The details suggest the aborted children include viable fetuses, Daleiden said. “Planned Parenthood’s use of heavy doses of a labor contraction drug to dilate pregnant women targeted for a viable fetus harvesting project means these are likely not standard ‘dismemberment’ abortions, but either intact partial-birth abortions or full delivery of live preemies.”
Victory for Pro-Lifers in Michigan?
A U.S. district judge in Michigan has told federal prosecutors trying to put a group of pro-life demonstrators in prison for up to a decade to stand down. The group had been awaiting sentencing after being convicted under the FACE Act, the law Biden-Harris administration has been using to prosecute pro-life demonstrators.
However, on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Matthew F. Leitman ordered a pause on all post-trial motions and pushed the next status conference well past Inauguration Day. An attorney representing at least one of the defendants told The Federalist that the judge instructed DOJ prosecutors to consult with the new Civil Rights Division and the new political leaders in Trump’s incoming administration.
“I think the judges know (the pursuit of pro-lifers)’s is a political thing,” he said.
Here’s hoping the new DOJ does an “about-FACE.”
