The City of Montreal has fined a local church for hosting a concert by the U.S.-based Christian musician Sean Feucht.
Feucht’s controversial views and his status as a rising star in the MAGA movement have led officials to cancel his concerts in several Canadian cities in recent days.
But on Friday evening, an evangelical church in Montreal allowed Feucht to perform a hastily scheduled concert over the objections of the city administration, and is now facing a $2,500 fine.
A spokesperson for Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante said the Ministerios Restauracion Church in the city’s Plateau-Mont-Royal borough did not have a permit to organize a concert, and had been informed that the event could not take place.
“This show runs counter to the values of inclusion, solidarity, and respect that are championed in Montreal. Freedom of expression is one of our fundamental values, but hateful and discriminatory speech is not acceptable in Montreal,” Philippe Masse said in a statement.
What “hateful and discriminatory speech” is Feucht accused of broadcasting? Straightforward biblical Christianity, including its moral teachings on sexuality. That’s it.
But Montreal’s mayor and the country’s draconian hate speech laws (never applied against Muslims with similar moral beliefs), characterize traditional Christianity as outside the protection of Canada’s constitution.

Angry protestors gathered outside the church, and two smoke bombs were thrown at Feucht’s head during the concert, he told the National Post.
Want to see the event that Montreal’s government labeled hateful? Here’s a clip:

At least one Canadian member of Parliament has chimed in on the draconian restrictions the country has imposed on Feucht:

Feucht’s tour of Canada continues, and he expects more encounters with intolerant local governments and unhinged protestors. Pray for peace and freedom north of our border.
Approval Rating for Democrats Hits the Lowest Point in 35 Years
Despite all the fits and starts President Donald Trump’s administration has had, mostly due to lawless interference by federal judges, his second term in office is proving to be poison — for his Democrat opponents. The Wall Street Journal reports:
The Democratic Party’s image has eroded to its lowest point in more than three decades, according to a new Wall Street Journal poll, with voters seeing Republicans as better at handling most issues that decide elections.
The new survey finds that 63% of voters hold an unfavorable view of the Democratic Party — the highest share in Journal polls dating to 1990 and 30 percentage points higher than the 33% who hold a favorable view.
That is a far weaker assessment than voters give to either President Trump or the Republican Party, who are viewed more unfavorably than favorably by 7 points and 11 points, respectively. A mere 8% of voters view the Democrats “very favorably,” compared with 19% who show that level of enthusiasm for the GOP.
GOP in Congress Actively Frustrating Trump, Going on Long Vacation
With 135 Trump appointees still awaiting confirmation, and a long list of conservative legislative priorities totally unaddressed, GOP leaders of the Senate and the House are going on a long summer vacation — and refusing to recess both houses to prevent Trump from making recess appointments that would temporarily evade the lengthy confirmation process.
President Trump’s own political party is preventing him from making recess appointments. Let that sink in. @realDonaldTrump @SenateGOP @HouseGOP @LeaderJohnThune @SpeakerJohnson pic.twitter.com/Kqny2S1J10

Swamp Republicans would rather see Democrats win elections than lose control over their party to Trump and his populist voters. There’s no other explanation for this resort to a baroque mockery of the legislative process, merely to cripple their own party’s elected president in office.
In case you find that puzzling, remember how many Establishment Republicans supported the Russia collusion hoax while it was being perpetrated on us. Watch this liberal journalist humiliate Senator Lindsay Graham with old clips of him endorsing that Deep State psy op:

Model Decides to Detransition After Harrowing Hormone Treatments and Recovering Faith
The New York Post published the uplifting (if painful to read) account of Miles Yardley, a male model who was pressured at age 15 into “transitioning” and tried to live as a woman for years.
His story is one that’s becoming all too familiar: A child with unconventional interests, swayed by strange ideologies on the Internet, is hustled by doctors into a life of medical dependency — only to find himself questioning everything years later.
“They very quickly put me on hormones without really any discernment. Looking back, if I were a doctor, I would think this is a much larger decision than the kid thinks that it is,” he tells the Post.
Miles Yardley, as his female persona Salomé, arrived in the Big Apple in 2022 from his native Pennsylvania. He (then she) quickly became the toast of New York’s downtown fashion scene.
Yardley signed a modeling contract, was featured in a Marc Jacobs perfume ad shot by famed photographer Juergen Teller, exhibited for Enfants Riches Déprimés, and strutted Fashion Week runways for designers Batsheva and Elena Velez — all while singing in parishes and mentoring Catholic schoolchildren in music….
At 15, Yardley found himself a patient in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s gender clinic. He’d been late to start puberty and had interests in singing and dancing. Classmates began to ask if he was gay or a girl. He’d never heard of transgenderism. “I had not questioned my own identity before other people started asking me questions and putting that on me,” he says.
After only his second appointment, a Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia doctor put Yardley on androgen blockers and later estrogen therapy, calling him “the perfect example” of a transgender child.
But Yardley was never comfortable with the artificial identity that had been forced on him, and as he delved more deeply into his Catholic faith, he began to question what was done to him when he was a confused teenager. And he got sick:
In April 2024, Yardley was diagnosed with pituitary adenoma — a type of brain tumor — and has hypothyroidism. Both conditions have suspected links to hormone therapy…. ‘I was really crazy on the hormones,’ he said. ‘I was mentally unstable and cognitively impaired. And generally fatigued, tired, not strong at all in ways that I’m only now coming to really understand.’
Yardley is now suing Children’s Hospital for malpractice, living as a man again, and hoping to find a “nice Catholic girl” and get married. For more stories of detransitioners, see this archive from The Ruth Institute.
