The Brew: Biden Witch-Hunt of 2020 Election Skeptics Was ‘100 Times Worse Than Watergate’
One of the most thoughtful sites for insightful conservative comment for the past 10 years has been The Federalist. Its latest edition tells us some sobering truths, which we can only pray will sink in with the broader public — inundated as it is with mass-produced media messages that President Donald Trump is somehow a “dictator” for using the same powers Barack Obama did, and deporting illegal aliens at a much slower pace. The Federalist reports:
Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed Wednesday that former President Joe Biden’s corrupt Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) compiled what’s being described as an “enemies list” of Republicans to target, including through subpoenaing the phone records of several high-ranking Republicans as part of their “get-Trump” lawfare.
Grassley revealed more than 1,700 pages of documents provided by whistleblowers, shining further light on the “Arctic-Frost” inquiry. Arctic Frost was an investigation led by the Biden administration to, as The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland explained, “target Republicans in key battleground states.” …
Jack Smith relied on this investigation as the basis for his anti-Trump lawfare, through which he attempted to both put the then-former president in jail and spy on the entire Republican political apparatus.
According to Grassley, “Smith secretly obtained phone record data from at least eight senators and one congressman.”
Just imagine if Trump had tried doing a tenth of any of this. Go after members of Congress? He can’t even get human traffickers with live deportation orders removed from the country.

The Villains Need to Be in Prison. The Heroes Need to Be Freed
It’s an ongoing scandal that none of the perpetrators of such legal abuses is yet sitting in a cell — while patriots like honest election official Tina Peters still rot in prison — in her case for doing her job and preserving evidence of election fraud in the 2020 presidential race. Perhaps we’ll see some progress there, as Gateway Pundit reports:
The Trump Justice Department is ramping up its efforts against Colorado to get Tina Peters released from state prison.
In October 2024, Tina Peters, the former Mesa County, Colorado, Clerk, was found guilty of three charges and sentenced to nine years in prison.
She was jailed for preserving evidence from the 2020 elections that she was told to delete, despite laws to preserve records for a length of time.
The nasty leftist judge berated her, insulted her, and told her she had “white privilege!”
Tina, a 70-year-old Gold Star Mother in poor health, is now serving nine years in prison for challenging the 2020 elections. The left wants her dead.
In May, President Trump’s close friend and former schoolmate, Peter Ticktin, filed an amicus brief in support of Tina Peters in Colorado.
Just days after Peter Ticktin’s amicus brief was filed, President Trump directed the Department of Justice to take all necessary action to release this political prisoner from the Biden regime.
The Latest Democratic Landslide Needs to Wake Republicans Up, Steve Bannon Warns
The influential Leftist site Politico turned to longtime Trump ally Steve Bannon for his take on Tuesday’s nationwide groundswell for Democrat candidates. Bannon is quite alarmed, and issued a warning:
“Tonight should be a wake up call to the populist nationalist movement under President Trump,” he said in an interview with POLITICO Magazine just after midnight on Wednesday. “These are very serious people, and they need to be addressed seriously.”
Bannon seemed impressed by the Mamdani campaign’s ability to turn out low-propensity voters — “this is kind of the Trump model” — though he branded Mamdani a “neo-Marxist,” rather than a populist. And he is eager to have Trump and his administration battle Mamdani in the days ahead.
In a wide-ranging conversation following Democrats’ big wins in New Jersey and Virginia, Bannon also ripped Republicans for their failures, discussed how the GOP can avoid a 2026 midterm rout and laid out what Trump’s immediate next moves should be.
In an interview with Politico, Bannon said of the victory of radical socialist Muslim Zohran Mahmdani in America’s most important city, New York:
There should be even more than alarm bells. There should be flashing red lights all over.
This is not Karen Bass. This is not the guy in Chicago. You’re going to see a whole new group of Mamdanis in these major urban cities because they’re just flooded with immigrants, right? That’s where his vote came from, principally, and the progressive left, these kids have come up through the public school system. This is the flower of what the progressive left has delivered over the last 40 or 50 years. You saw it tonight and people, we’re going to have a fight on our hands. …
Look at these numbers tonight. [New Jersey Gov.-elect] Mikie Sherrill and [Virginia Gov.-elect Abigail] Spanberger are going to win by 15 points. At one time, [polls] had Mikie Sherrill winning by 1 or 2 points. Last I saw, she could win by 10, 12, 14, 15 points. These are blowouts.
Democrats had a theme tonight. The theme was stop Trump, anti-Trump. We’ve got to beat Trump. It was all Trump, Trump, Trump, and the Republicans in New Jersey, particularly New Jersey, and in Virginia had no theme whatsoever.
The official Republican Party just wants to tap Trump along and then be done with him, be done with MAGA, and get back to what they want to do — neocon, neoliberal.
If the GOP decides that the lesson this week’s election is that it needs to go back to being the party of Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, and George W. Bush — as the Tory party in Britain decided after the Brexit election — then the political spectrum in the U.S. will shift irrevocably to the Left, as migrants continue to flood our borders and render traditional conservative, Christian candidates permanently unelectable.
Democrat Michigan Wants to Teach 8-Year-Olds About “Healthy Sex”
Maybe we’re just alarmists. Maybe the Democrat party is the same as it was under Hubert Humphrey, and everyone who says different is just a doomsaying extremist. But then how do we explain the latest news from the heartland, from the Midwestern state of Michigan? The Midwesterner News, employing an impressive array of euphemisms, reports:
Michigan’s Department of Education has proposed major updates to the state’s health education standards, reshaping how schools teach about sex, relationships, and identity. The draft guidelines, still under review, emphasize inclusivity, consent, and respect, and have sparked debate among educators, parents, and lawmakers across the state.
The proposal moves away from the state’s longstanding abstinence-focused framework toward a more comprehensive model. It calls for lessons that explicitly address sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, encouraging respect for all individuals regardless of their background.

Rep. Jamie Thompson, R-Brownstown, who has been a vocal critic of the new guidelines, told The Midwesterner that “it shifts essential aspects of child development from parents to schools without sufficient oversight. It uses a classroom to push radical and unproven ideologies and downplay the real consequences of adult decisions.” …
“Society for Health Education, or SIECUS. You can go to their website and you will see very clearly what they advocate for in curriculums,” Thompson told fellow legislators at a House Oversight Committee hearing this week.
“They believe that abstinence is failing our kids (and) teaching abstinence is ineffective. They believe that teaching abstinence to children threatens the fundamental human right of sex. They believe that we should be encouraging our children safe and healthy ways to engage in sex,” she said.
“And in Michigan we know that the age of consent is 16. So why would Society for Health Education be working with our Board of Education to teach this to 3rd graders, 8- and 9-year-olds?”
