The Brew: 10 Million Illegals Crossing the U.S. Border? No Problemo. Fifty White South Africans? The Left Melts Down in Outrage

It’s not enough to say that President Donald Trump has taken trolling the Left to an art form. He has made it his 4D chess. He and his team had ample opportunity during four years of sedition and betrayal (2016-20), then four years of election fraud and lawfare (2020-25), to make a detailed study of the Left’s pressure points.

Which buttons must be pushed to crack the facade of compassion and reveal its hidden hate for our constitutional freedoms? What levers must be pulled to shred the curtain of credentialed expertise and expose the lies and corruption? What little things  that the public sees as perfectly reasonable will send the representatives of “decency” and “progress” spitting green-pea soup across the room?

Those are the buttons and levers the Trump administration will use, then sit back and watch the fun. In a few short months in office, with a do-nothing Congress that’s come to resemble a model U.N., Trump has managed to goad his opponents into battering themselves bloody while keeping his own approval ratings strong and further cementing populist domination over the GOP.

Beginning with Bill Clinton and escalating under Obama, the Democrats long managed to present themselves as the rational, compassionate, better-educated and “cool” party — as opposed to the backwards troglodytes who “cling to their guns and religion.”

No more. That’s over now. It turns out it wasn’t that hard to break the glitzy display window that held the Left’s treasured idols; it just required Christians and conservatives who frankly didn’t care what the posh people thought of them — who weren’t writing and speaking with one eye on what Snopes.com might say about them and another on the flak they might get from their spouses after getting snubbed at the country club. (In other words, conservatives quite unlike most of those we now find in Congress. The GOP has a long way still to go.)

So far, Trump and his team have forced the Left to say the quiet part out loud again and again, to the horror of normal people. Dozens of prominent Democrats are now on record as supporting

  • fake asylum for illegal alien gang members
  • voting rights for noncitizens
  • massive wasteful spending via USAID promoting transgenderism and abortion around the world, and
  • “free speech” for rioting, antisemitic foreign students and federal aid to pay the salaries of pro-jihad professors.

The Africans Who Saved America

But nothing equals the squalor of what Trump has exposed by admitting four dozen or so white South Africans to our country who were literally being hunted in their own. As The Stream noted here yesterday, the U.S. Episcopal Church has suspended all its refugee programs with the U.S. government rather than help these harried people. In fact, the decision was made by the Right Rev. Mariann Budde — the same lady bishop who denounced Trump to his face during a church service the day after his second inauguration for deporting economic migrants. The only difference that mattered to her? The color of their skin.

First leftists tried and failed to prove that the Marxist-tribalist government of South Africa isn’t persecuting the Boers — the Dutch-speaking Protestants whose ancestors settled that land centuries before the current majority black tribes arrived as immigrants. There’s just too much evidence proving a vicious campaign of hate, theft, and even murder aimed at the children of the once-dominant whites.

It’s hard to make the case that a group isn’t being persecuted when the government is singling that group out to confiscate its property just as nakedly as the Nazis once pillaged helpless German Jews while mainstream political rallies encourage mobs to sing a song titled “Kill the Boer.” So next, leftists started arguing that the Boers deserve to be pillaged and abandoned, caged up in a nation that hates them.

Have you got all that? Because their parents or grandparents practiced segregation, today’s Afrikaners deserve to stripped of their wealth and driven out of their country. Of course, if we followed that logic, the same would apply to every white person in America, which only outlawed legal discrimination in 1965. Is that what the Left has in mind? Millions of Americans are having the very same thought.

The Left could have dodged this bullet by winking at the admission of a few dozen, or even a few thousand, peaceful Boer farmers. But that would have required them not to be convulsed with hatred or drunk with the righteousness of a new, false religion: narcissistic, self-divinizing White Guilt.

Well played, Mr. President. Well played.

Trump Sidelines Israel on Middle East Deal

Not all is smooth sailing, of course. Cracks in the MAGA coalition are emerging over the Trump administration’s policy toward the Middle East. Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reports:

Sources close to US President Donald Trump report that he is disappointed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. … Earlier this week, we reported that Netanyahu was frustrated with Trump. Now it appears the American president has also lost patience with his Israeli counterpart. Two senior figures in Trump’s circle stated in recent closed-door conversations, whose contents reached Israel Hayom, that Trump has decided to stop waiting for Israel and instead move forward with Middle East initiatives without Netanyahu.

The sources explained that the president wishes to make decisions he believes will advance American interests, particularly regarding Saudi Arabia and Gulf states. Israel was supposed to participate in some of these steps, referring primarily to normalization with Saudi Arabia. However, according to Trump’s perspective, Netanyahu is delaying making the necessary decisions. Given this situation, the president refuses to wait until Israel takes its expected actions and is proceeding without Israeli participation.

It should be noted that as part of normalization with Israel, Saudi Arabia expects an end to the war in Gaza and an Israeli declaration about a “horizon for a Palestinian state,” or similar terminology. Minister Ron Dermer, who manages this issue, has spent numerous hours crafting language related to Israel’s willingness to establish a “Palestinian state” in the future, given public opposition to the concept and the political sensitivity of the term in Israel.

Furthermore, Trump is furious about what he views as an attempt by Netanyahu and his team to pressure National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who has since been dismissed from his position, toward military action in Iran. Netanyahu claimed in response to the publication of this matter in The Washington Post that he spoke with Waltz only once. However, Trump remained unconvinced.

This remarkable video from the president’s visit to Saudi Arabia, featuring his unofficial campaign song “YMCA,” suggests a pro-Arab shift in the administration.

Will the U.S. go it alone in making a deal with moderate Arab countries? Will Israel strike Iran without U.S. support? Stay tuned, and pray both for peace and for the safety of God’s own people.

Parents Can Opt Out of “Groomer” Classes

Good news for parents and kids: The United States District Court for the Southern District of California granted a motion for preliminary injunction yesterday requiring the Encinitas Union School District to provide notification and opt-outs to parents and students when promoting gender ideology in “buddy classes,” a mentoring program coupling older and younger students. First Liberty Institute and the National Center for Law & Policy filed a complaint and motion for preliminary injunction last September.

“No child should be forced to speak a message that violates his religious convictions,” said Senior Counsel Nate Kellum. “We are grateful for the court’s decision and will continue to fight to ensure that elementary children are not forced to participate in lessons about gender identity that violate their faith.”

Last May, a fifth-grade teacher at La Costa Heights Elementary School read the book, My Shadow Is Pink, which urges children to question their own gender identity, aloud to her class. The book features a boy who sees his shadow as pink, which the book describes as “your inner-most you.” When the character wears a dress to school, his dad changes his beliefs and puts on a dress, too.

The students in the Encinitas district were forced to watch a read-aloud video of the book with their kindergartener “buddy” as part of the school’s mentoring program. Then they had to ask the kindergartner what color “represents” him and draw the kindergartener’s shadow in chalk. When the parents asked to be notified so they can opt their children out of similar lessons in the future, the school district denied their requests.
