Suspect in Custody After Stabbing at Rutgers University in New Jersey
The investigation is ongoing.
Three people, including a suspect, are being treated for injuries after a stabbing at Rutgers University in New Jersey Friday afternoon, the university posted on Facebook. The school tweeted an alert around 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Within the hour, the university tweeted that a suspect was in custody and that the area was safe.

The stabbing occurred at Rutgers Business School at the University’s New Brunswick campus, located in Piscataway, CBS New York reported.
The investigation is ongoing and the neither the exact condition of those stabbed nor the motivation of the attacker have been released.
