The Stream Honors America and Her Creator

By The Stream Published on July 2, 2017

This July 4th, the United States of America celebrates her 241st birthday. In honor of Independence Day and to the glory of the Creator who brought it about, we are offering “A Stream-Spangled Celebration.”

We’ll be featuring through the holiday a special series of articles. Among them:

  • James Robison on how “Freedom’s Hope is Found on the Shoulders of the Lord”
  • Dudley Hall on “The Triumph of Freedom”
  • 8 Seconds of Courage author Tom Sileo on “Quiet Fireworks: Honoring the Heroes Who Keep Us Free”

Also, Rachel Alexander will tell what America has lost since 1776, Al Perrotta will take us back to a special 4th of July at the Naval Academy, and Shannon Henderson will guide us on a picturesque journey through one of this nation’s most treasured patriotic songs.

And that’s just for starters.

We hope you will enjoy and share these pieces, and above all have a safe and glorious Independence Day holiday.
