On February 15, 2021, at 7:14 p.m., She Loves Out Loud prayer movement will be held virtually nationwide on Facebook at She Loves Out Loud. It is once again a time for women to pray in unity for the healing of hearts, for the future of children and for America. Started by Diane Strack, She Loves Out Loud will host Christian leaders, who will talk about their prayer life over the past year and what Scripture they’re holding onto for 2021. For more information, visit SheLovesOutLoud.org.

The 2020 She Loves Out Loud event exceeded Diane Strack’s expectations. It exceeded her expectations in terms of numbers — the event reached over a million women — but more than that, Diane counts the incredible stories that came out through the event as a sign of the event’s success. “We did have incredible numbers,” Diane told The Stream, “but we also have incredible stories.”

Lives Are Changed

Like the story of the woman who entered a church during last year’s event, weeping uncontrollably. As the congregation prayed, the pastor’s wife rose to meet the woman. “I just gave birth to a stillborn baby at the hospital,” she told the pastor’s wife. “No one could minister to me.” She explained that her family and friends were overwhelmed and could not help her. “I knew if I came here, you would pray for me and you would hold me and you would help me through this.” Diane added, “She made her way to the church having just given birth to a stillborn baby, just to be hugged and loved and helped through [it].”

Diane has heard many stories like this, where women’s lives were changed because of the She Loves Out Loud event. Homeless missions have told her about women who saw the event and gave their lives to Christ. “We had so many stories like that.”

The impact of the 2020 She Loves Out Loud event continues. Initially, Diane thought that She Loves Out Loud would be over after last February’s event. But then COVID-19 hit. “Suddenly, thousands more women started joining us and we realized that people were now going, ‘If you’re going to pray for me, I need help.’ And that’s what the whole [Facebook] page has sort of become — women praying for and talking to each other.” She added, “And that was our goal … for women to be able to say to each other, ‘I care about you. I’ll pray for you. I’ll walk with you in life,’ and it is happening and it’s continuing to happen.”

She Loves Out Loud 2021

Women will once again have an opportunity on February 15, 2021, to participate in She Loves Out Loud. “People started asking and saying, ‘I wish we could do it again. I wish we could do it again.’ … Women kept saying to us, ‘We’re looking for hope. We’re looking to hear a good word. Are we doing a reunion?'” So, the She Loves Out Loud team decided to do it again. Almost all of the guests from 2020 will be back this year, including Carol Kent, Christa Lynn, Megan Brown, Donna Gaines, and many more. Faith leader and author Sheila Walsh will host the event and will ask the guests two questions: “Tell me what happened in your prayer life in 2020,” and “What word [Scripture] are you holding onto for 2021?”

Says Strack: “My hope for the reunion is that women will come together and continue to support each other because we saw that happen. I think there is this overwhelming feeling that is permeating our nation and even women in our churches. … And so you need to find a place. If you can’t be at church, if  you can’t be with friends, come to see She Loves Out Loud. Laugh with us, cry with us, lean in as we lean into Christ and pray together.”
