By The Stream Published on June 23, 2019

Continuing the Science Uprising series: Episode 3: DNA is like software code, but more complex. So who coded it? Scientists say DNA was coded by a totally materialistic process of mutations. But how does that work? Would errors in copying and pasting a simple video game code, with gamers sharing their favorite mutated versions, turn into a completely different, complex video game? Of course not. Calculating the probability of mutations producing one new protein leads us to the conclusion that it’s essentially impossible. It’s time to acknowledge that materialism doesn’t have all the answers.
