“The only way you’re going to have a ‘Merry Christmas,’ — a joy-filled Christmas — is to experience the Reason for the season,” Stream founder James Robison said this morning in a Facebook post. “It’s the birth of Christ!”

Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice for our sins, said James. By receiving Christ as the substitute for our sin, as the payment, we can be born from above spiritually.

“The way we experience peace on this earth … begins by committing our life to the one who gave His life for us on the cross.” James said. But Christ rose from the grave, conquered death and sent the Holy Spirit to live inside us. “This is where you get the peace that passes understanding, this is how you can face the trials that are sure to come and endure the storms of life abiding in peace.”
