A teenager gave an impromptu concert for the Philadelphia police patrolling the streets during the Democratic National Convention protests this week. Brandon Combs, 15, played the National Anthem on his trumpet as a crowd of patrol officers and passersby gathered around.

The Philadelphia Police Department shared the inspirational video on their Facebook page.

Brandon’s an impressive musician. Even more impressive, the talented teen told officers that he wants to join their ranks when he becomes old enough.
