Poking the Russian Bear: Globalist Europeans Greenlight Ukraine’s Attack on Russia

By Joachim Osther Published on June 4, 2025

Over the last few days, we’ve seen an immense escalation in the Ukraine/Russia war. In fact, some people are describing it as “Russia’s Pearl Harbor.”

Ukraine deployed drone swarms hidden in containers on large transport trucks. Once inside Russian territory, the swarms disabled several Tu-95 Russian bombers — planes that are integral to Russia’s strategic nuclear deployment capabilities.

While the Ukrainian Security Service claimed to have hit 34% of Russia’s 55 bombers capable of carrying nuclear-armed cruise missiles, the actual number may be lower; independent news sources indicate only 7% to 11% of Russia’s nuclear-capable fleet was damaged.

The magnitude of these events is far greater than anything else Ukraine has done so far. It demonstrated that Ukraine can creatively target strategic elements deep within Russia using burgeoning warfare technology.

The greatest shock value is clearly in damaging Russia’s nuclear capabilities.

Additionally, an explosion near Severomorsk, which is home to Russia’s Northern Fleet –the largest of its four submarine units and many of its nuclear-capable subs. At press time, the details were still murky, and Russian officials were denying that the Northern fleet had been targeted. But if that turns out to be Russian propaganda and Ukraine is also behind that, it would escalate the war even more.

The drone attack alone was plenty to put military experts on edge. They’re warning that Russia may see this as an effort to weaken their nuclear deterrence capabilities, which may lead President Vladimir Putin to deploy smaller tactical nuclear weapons into Ukraine.

Apparently, Ukraine did not inform the Trump administration about it in advance.

Analysis and Considerations

President Donald Trump has already made it clear he is not in the business of promulgating global conflicts. Rather, he has focused on bringing the Ukraine/Russia war to an end. He certainly would oppose the major attack by Ukraine.

The European globalists seem to have different designs, however. Just last week, the EU’s biggest player, Germany, approved Ukrainian missile strikes deep within Russian territory.

This comes on the heels of the European Union announcing in March it would bolster its own defense spending by nearly $1 trillion.

The bottom line: Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelensky is not quite ready to end the war; therefore, he turns away from Trump and America, siding with European globalists who seem convinced that agitating the Russian bear is a better way to go about it.

Interestingly, on Monday, Russia presented a peace plan during negotiations in Istanbul. This indicates that Putin may sense now is the time to bring the costly war to a close — that is, unless the Europeans muck it up.

In the meantime, we’re left to wonder if the Chinese have been able to sneak containers into the U.S. that are full of drones similar to the ones used by Ukraine.

CIA operative Bryan Dean Wright, who now hosts the Wright Report podcast, reminded his audience Monday that 80% of the cranes that lift containers off ships at US ports are made in China — a fact that was already a national security concern before last weekend’s demonstration that drone warfare can open a battlefront nearly anywhere at any time.

This is most certainly a time to pray fervently for peace.
