Planned Parenthood Tweet Shows Anti-Woman Bias

By Amelia Hamilton Published on April 9, 2015

Planned Parenthood pretends to be champions of women. They talk about women being strong and capable but, when it comes right down to it, they don’t really seem to believe it. In a single tweet yesterday, they managed to send that message loud and clear.

Apparently, Planned Parenthood isn’t a big fan of Rand Paul. That’s understandable, as he is a vocal defender of life, with his website clearly stating, “I strongly believe in the sanctity of life. I believe that life begins at conception and that abortion takes the life of an innocent human being.” So, when he announced his run for president Tuesday, Planned Parenthood was ready to attack. Unfortunately, they didn’t really think it through and let their true colors show with this tweet:

Apparently, the folks at Planned Parenthood think that women are defined only by their gender and can’t be, oh, let’s say, veterans or marines or Christians or Jews or conservatives or lawyers.  Obviously women fit into every single category on the list. And it didn’t take long before the responses started pouring in:

Within half an hour, they were trying to back-pedal:

However, it was too late. In an attempt at a “gotcha” moment that would reveal the supposed bias of Rand Paul, they only exposed their own. Keep tweeting, Planned Parenthood. You’re showing the public what you really think of women. “Message received,” indeed.
