Pastor Calls for Prayer and Fasting Every Tuesday Until the Election

By The Stream Published on October 14, 2020

Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills released a live video on Facebook Tuesday morning, October 13, calling for the church to pray and fast for this nation.

“Every Tuesday between now and the election, we’re going to fast and pray,” Hibbs said. He will lead a 3 to 5 minute prayer at 7:00 AM (Pacific), covering topics ranging from repentance to revival.

Hibbs is also calling for all pastors to fully re-open their churches by October 25 and preach the Word of God boldly. “We’re pleading with churches to do it — pastors to go and storm their pulpits, on fire with a message that is given to them from the Lord, from above.”

Pastor Jack closes with the reminder that it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. “He’s good. Let us seek him with all of our hearts until we see Jesus face to face.”

Please watch and consider joining us in prayer for the Church to Awaken in our day.
