Who was Chris Harper Mercer, the man suspected of carrying out Thursday’s murderous rampage at Umpqua Community College in Oregon? Breitbart this morning is providing one piece of the puzzle with a story headlined: “Oregon Shooter Linked to Man Praising Islamic Terrorism: ‘Kill the Jews'”:

Mercer’s MySpace features only two connections, one of which is a man named Mahmoud Ali Ehsani. Ehsani published a photo album titled, “Classic – The Mujahideen Collection LOL,” featuring Islamic terrorists from several countries, including Palestine, Iran, and Pakistan, among others.

One caption reads: “my brave soldiers keep on fighting for the liberation of Palestine against Israel. **** israel. Kill the jews. jews are the only infidels.”

Another potential piece of the puzzle comes courtesy of theconservativetreehouse.comThey found that a “Chris Harper Mercer” left a racist rant on a Black Lives Matter fund-raising site in August.

This entry has now been deleted from the YouCaring Black Lives Matter crowd-sourcing site.

NBC News, quoting law enforcement officials, reports Mercer left behind a multi-page note described as a “philosophy of hate.” The contents of that note have not been released.

Another of his online footprints suggests he was involved with the occult.

The dark portrait of this mass murderer is still being painted. But early reports hold that Mercer walked into a classroom Thursday morning in a quiet community in Oregon, told those gathered to stand up, and those who affirmed they were Christians he executed.
