One Church Films the Christmas Story as Told by Kids — With Hilarious Results

By Nancy Flory Published on December 20, 2016

Every year, Southland Christian Church in Kentucky prepares a special video to be shown at their Christmas Eve service, knowing their parishioners are more likely to bring guests. Last year’s video, “Christmas According to Kids,” went for the funny bone. Now, this Christmas, after being featured on the Today show, the 2015 video has “gone viral” according to Christianity Today. As of Tuesday morning,  it has over 41 million views and well over a million shares.

What’s the big deal? The video features Southland’s younger children narrating the Nativity story with adults acting out and lip-synching the narration — every single, adorable mistake and nuance of the narration.

From Southland Christian Church, here’s “Christmas According to Kids.” Be warned. This is snort-eggnog-out-your-nose funny.
