New Report: Planned Parenthood Aborted Almost 7K Fewer Babies Last Year

By Nancy Flory Published on January 3, 2018

Planned Parenthood just released its 2016-2017 Annual Report, which shows abortions are down by several thousand as compared to last year’s report.

In 2016, Planned Parenthood reported 328,348 abortions, while this year’s report shows they performed 321,384 abortions. Adoption referrals were up by exactly 1,000 over last year. Fewer women went in for prenatal services this year over last — 7,762 from 9,419.

Some speculate that fewer abortions occurred because Planned Parenthood closed some of their offices. According to American Life League’s 2017 report on Planned Parenthood, the abortion giant closed 32 facilities last year while opening only five others. In 1995, Planned Parenthood operated 938 facilities. American Life League (ALL) reports as of last month, Planned Parenthood operates 597 facilities. ALL makes the distinction that while not every location performs abortions, every location provides abortifacients.

While abortions are down this year over last by 6,964, please continue to pray that Planned Parenthood will continue to shut its doors and more lives will be saved.
